Jugheads POV
Betty and I sat as a huge breakfast buffet table was in front of us. I gasped softly as I held Betty back seeing all the food and just had to admire the scene in case it was all a dream.

Mr Cooper smiled asking me "you okay?"

It hit me as I shouted "Betty your rich!"

He laughed and Betty said "we're well off, if we were rich we'd have billions of houses. We only have this apartment and Riverdale."

I gulped and began grabbing a whole bunch of things and Mr Cooper sat down as Mrs Cooper set down his and her coffee.

As I ate Mr Cooper asked Betty and I "so what will you kids be doing today?"

Betty said "Jughead wanted to be a tourist."

I said "in my defense I don't know New York."

She smiled at me saying "but we're just gonna have fun be tourists for the day."

He nodded as he said "alright well...I was going to say figure out dinner tonight kids, Christmas Eve is tomorrow and I'm going to be taking your mother out Betty."

She said "don't worry, I have something planned for Jughead and I."

I nodded and I continued to eat my breakfast.

When we left we were in the trains as she said "don't worry okay? Its gonna be an amazing adventure."

I smiled and the train arrived from the tunnel and we got in.

We were at a park as Betty said "I reserved us to skate hurry!"

I scoffed and we ran to the rink.

As we got prepped she said "you know how to skate right?"

I shouted "no!"

She said "I thought you knew how to ride a bike!"

I said "it's completely different!"

She gulped saying "well, I somewhat know so come on."

I sighed and she finished tying my skate and we went to the rink. As we slowly went along Betty was going a bit quicker and I almost fell.

She grabbed me and smiled as she said "come on, it's pretty simple okay?"

I nodded and slowly we glided.

As she smiled and I smiled at her and she said "you see?"

I laughed and as it began snowing she took a photo of us and I said "you okay?"

She looked at me and looked up and smiled "I'm with my boyfriend...with my family, in the most beautiful city ever...I'm the happiest!"

I smiled and pulled her as I slid and fell and winced as she laughed and reached for my hand. I held it and pulled her down as she laughed and I laughed with her. As we got some hot chocolate we began going through the small shops.

She was looking at a ring and I smirked as she said "it's beautiful...and it's a matching set..."

I smiled as she set it down and I sighed.

I stared at it and smirked gently asking the lady "how much for the two?"

She smiled and I smiled back.

As we left she said "now we're gonna go to the Barnes and Nobles. A 4 story building filled of books!"

She grabbed my hand and we went down into the train station. As we entered the place I drank my hot chocolate as she smiled and we went upstairs.

She squealed saying "Heartstopper books 3 and 4. They're amazing graphic novels that show that love is love no matter who you are and the struggles you have to face with one another."

I smiled and she said "hey..."

She looked at me saying "since tomorrows Christmas Eve I wanted to ask if you'd like too go to Times Square since we've been to Bryant Park, Herald Square, the Sax Avenue Lights...now the Union Square Shops and here?"

I laughed and said "yeah...and we can go last minute shopping for your parents..."

She scoffed and I said "sorry?"

She said "it's okay alright? No need to worry."

She kissed my cheek saying "come on, I bet there are comics upstairs..."

I laughed and we continued onto the escalators.

When we got home she whispered "okay...since my parents probably had sex let's stay quiet..."

I said "your gross for thinking about that."

She told me "just shut up."

I rolled my eyes as she said "we also have to get you a haircut."

I said "no way!"

She covered my mouth as we continued up the stairs. As we slowly walked we heard the television on, but as we walked the floor began to creek and she covered my mouth again as we saw their door open. We walked across the door and saw them. She covered my eyes and we continued walking. After getting ourselves cleaned up and all I was reading in bed as Betty came out smiling at me and came next to me.

I said "can I at least know what you saw?"

She said "let's just say my dad fell in love with everything about a serpent and that while we were gone they definitely made use of their time."

I scoffed and she smirked as I said "when you fell in love with me...when you told me..."

She smiled as I said "why do you love me? Love is such a strong word, and it's obvious that there's billions of reasons of why I love you but...why me?"

She smiled and set my book down saying "I fell in love with the boy underneath all of this... everything about you...that doesn't involve your life as a serpent but that...you're loyal to your friends are your family and you'll do anything to protect them and me...and the fact that you are the most trustworthy and honest guy I've ever met...so many guys have lied and lied to me...but you haven't and it makes me love you so much..."

I gulped and said "yeah...I haven't have I?"

She smiled gently saying "I love you more than anyone in this whole world...besides my parents...I trust you just as much as I do Veronica and my trust is very difficult to obtain. But I guess I truly trust you that much."

She kissed my cheek as I smirked saying "look up..."

She looked up seeing the mistletoe and scoffed as I smirked at her saying "did it while you showered."

She kissed me and I kissed her back.
