It took three days for the camp to set things right. Daeshim had announced about the war, the students had given a variety of expressions in response. Seonghwa was surprised most of them were actually very enthusiastic and ambitious to fight and save their camp. There was so much new information that Seonghwa got about wars, he was told that when he takes off the fire flag from the main school, he'll find a message there, in which the enemy would have written a condition for the war, which the camp would have to follow. In return, Daeshim had said, they would keep a condition too, and it would be that the enemy would have to return all the missing students. Seonghwa wandered if that would bring Hongjoong back, would he come back?

It was a thursday when Seonghwa was called to take off the flag. He didn't expect it to be such a big event, but the students were gathered beneath the flag, waiting for him. Daeshim didn't say a word, but when Seonghwa bowed befire taking off, he said, "May the victory be yours."

Seonghwa climbed up the stairs, all the way up to the top, adrenaline rushing all over him. Once on the roof, his eyes took seconds to adjust to the bright sky. The flag fluttered in the wind, and it looked quite like a normal country flag. Seonghwa walked towards it, feeling no opposing force. After walking like ten steps, he was almost sure that taking off the flag wasn't much of a challenge. Just as he thought that, a circle of fire lit around the flag. Big flames rising falling, Seonghwa was forced to step back, he heard the loud gasps and screams of the students from beneath. Seonghwa immediately summoned water and sprayed it over the flames. The flames only got bigger. The amount of water didn't seem to bother the fire at all.

Though it required large amounts of energy, Seonghwa summoned large amounts of water, again to pour it all over the fire. This time, some flames did extinguish, but were ignited again by the surrounding fire. Seonghwa then knew there was only one way to pull this off: summon water, then make a ring-like shape out of it, to math the fire, but use way more amount of water.

He tried, multiple times, but couldn't manage to shape the water into a circle. Seonghwa was amazed that the flames did no harm to the flag itself. Last time, he told himself, took a deep breath and summoned water again. He thought of Mingi, who was suffering somewhere, he thought of the other students who were missing, and the camp mate whom Damyeong had killed days ago. Lastly, he thought of Hongjoong. He had to do this.

Water began to take shape, a ring formed. Seonghwa willed it to hover over the circle of fire, and it did. The next thing, water splashed on him and the floor, and evaporating sounds were heard. Seonghwa opened his eyes, the fire was gone, only a blackened circle on the floor around the flag remained. Seonghwa took a step towards the flag, this time, no fire rised. Seonghwa pulled the flag pole off the floor as he heard cheers from beneath. He threw the flag off the roof, down to the students. As he did that, something fell off the flag, Seonghwa noticed it was a small scroll. The condition, Seonghwa remembered. He chose not to open the scroll, deciding to let Daeshim do it. Seonghwa rushed downstairs.

Cheers were all he heard as he came down, he couldn't stop smiling. Wooyoung came and engulfed him in a hug, "That shit was so cool dude! How ya do that?"
Yeosang patted him while Jongho made sure to ask if he needed any medical help.
Seonghwa went to Daeshim, he gave him a supportive slap on the back and a smile, "Good job, child."
He handed him the scroll, Daeshim proceeded to open it and Seonghwa heard the crowd silencing each other.
Daeshim read and smiled to himself, he then handed it to Seonghwa and said, "Read it loud for them."
"The battle shall be faught on the island of  Morinly. We respect your condition, and expect you to do the same. The condition should be placed beneath the tallest of the trees surrounded the camp, the note shall be collected overnight."
