And so the condition was written in black ink and placed beneath the tallest of trees. Daeshim had written in his neat handwriting that the camp wished to have the missing students back. As the opposition stated, the note would be collected overnight and the students would probably be here by the next morning.

A lot had happened in a day. Daeshim had told them that the enemies was fooling themselves here. "I don't think they know we have a water magician. Fighting on the island, with all the water surrounding you, you will be a lot more powerful." Daeshim had said. Seonghwa had understood the point, but he knew how scary Damyeong was, she must have something up her sleeve to keep a condition like this.

The missing students were to be returned by evening. Seonghwa was waiting, for the camp mates and especially Mingi, to come back. Seonghwa knew for sure that Hongjoong wouldn't come, but somewhere deep in his heart he still hoped for him to show up.

Evening came soon, students were all crowded outside to welcome the missing ones. Yunho looked exceptionally happier, Seonghwa noticed. He stood between San and Jongho, looking a head taller than both of them.

Soon the gates opened, and students in tattered clothes and horrible condition started filing in. Hair tousled, eyes bloodshot, skins full of bruises here and there was all Seonghwa could see for a minute before he spotted Mingi. His robe was missing, the silk shirt was dirty and torn here and there. His dark hair was messy and it stuck to his face. He looked different without glasses. Seonghwa waved at him, Mingi narrowed his eyes in his direction but then turned away. He probably can't see much, Seonghwa thought. Seonghwa jumped and tried making his way through the crowd, then he saw Mingi coming in his direction with a big smile on his face. Seonghwa was taken aback, he had never seen Mingi smile like that, the perfect white teeth were showing, and his eyes curved into crescent moons.

What happened next embarrassed Seonghwa: Mingi wasn't coming towards him. He ran straight towards Yunho, who was smiling an equally big smile. Mingi jumped on Yunho, he caught him and they both started giggling.
Yunho ran his hand through Mingi's hair, "Idiot." Yunho said.
Mingi just smiled and turned towards the others.
"Where did they keep you?" Yeosang asked.
"I have no idea. It was a classroom kinda place, others were also there." Mingi replied, it felt good to hear his deep voice again.
