Stargazing [Yeonjun x Reader]

VIII: Half the Truth

You passed the completed homework to Ji Soo right before her class started.

"I hope that you're not giving me all your homework and letting yourself do a bit of it." You said.

"It's none of your business," She snapped as she took the worksheets and left.

"Ye Seo?"

You whipped your head around.

It was Yeonjun.

"So you're telling me that you do basically all her homework for her so that she'll keep a secret for you," Yeonjun said slowly.

"Well, yes." You replied nervously. You felt the blood rushing to your cheeks.

"Cut it out, Kang Ye Seo!" You thought.

"Can I ask what secret is so important that you would do something like that to protect it?" Yeonjun asked.

"... It's about... Taehyun. If the secret's let out, he'll be in deep shit." You replied, fiddling with the hem of your skirt.

"Okay then..." Yeonjun stood up and extended a hand to you.

"Let's get to class."

Throughout the whole class, you could feel Yeonjun's stare on you. When you were eating with TXT during break you could still feel his eyes on you. Was it because of that night? The other members asked you if you were okay, so you told them that you needed the bathroom.

You left for the bathroom, only because you couldn't stand the feeling of Yeonuun looking at you.

"Kang Ye Seo!" A voice called out.

"Do you need something, Ji Soo?" You replied, rolling your eyes.

Ji Soo was standing at the entrance of the bathroom, her eyes alight with fury. Her minions stood around her, and Ji Soo had an expression that told you that something was very wrong.

"The homework that you passed me this morning, you did it badly! My teacher even came up to me and asked me why my work wasn't perfect as usual. I had to go to great lengths just to cover it up. You tried to sabotage me, didn't you?" Ji Soo yelled at me.

"I can make some mistakes, can I not?" Your heart rate started to speed up. Memories of doing those pieces of work resurfaced and you started to feel your cheeks burn.
