Stargazing [Yeonjun x Reader]

XI: Revealed

"No way... is this actually true?" Taehyun muttered as you and Yeonjun told the rest about your new relationship.

"It's true, Taehyun, we've told you billions of times already." Yeonjun whacked the younger on the head.

"Shall we take a wefie?" Huening Kai whipped out his phone and put it on selfie mode.

"Everybody say cheese!"

A camera clicked, and it was over.

"I'm gonna put the caption as 'group photo with the new couple, Yeonjun and Ye Seo!'" Huening Kai squealed as he posted the picture on social media.

On Monday, at school:

Whispers followed Taehyun and you around from the second you two entered the school compound.

"Do you know why everyone's whispering?" You asked Taehyun.

"No idea." He replied.

When you and Taehyun entered the classroom, Beomgyu came running up.

"Oh my god, Taehyun."

He grabbed both of your arms and dragged you towards where TXT was sitting.

"Tell them!" Beomgyu crossed his arms.

"Stay calm Taehyun." Soobin said.

"Did you get into a car accident 3 years ago?"

"Uh... yes?" Taehyun scratched the back of his head. "Does that have anything to do with all the whispering?"

Meanwhile, you felt your heart sink at Soobin's words. That incident... Taehyun lost a bit of his memory before the car accident, but when he asked you what had happened, you told a little white lie.

Because you knew that Taehyun could never live with the truth.

"Well, apparently you broke up with your girlfriend one day and while you were crossing the road, a car came and would have knocked you over but your ex-girlfriend pushed you out of the way and ended up dead," Huening Kai explained in one breath.

"That girl's name was Kim Hye Jin. Do you remember?" Beomgyu prompted gently.

"I... what? Ye Seo, you told me that I was saved by a stranger..." Taehyun turned to look at you.

"I... I'm sorry..." You started to cry. Yeonjun quickly put his arm around your shoulder, but you pushed his arm away.

"I'm so sorry Taehyun..." You wiped away the tears on your face and put down your bag at your seat, before dashing out of the classroom.
