Stargazing [Yeonjun x Reader]

XXVI: Searching...

3rd person POV:

"So, how are we going to do this?" Soobin asked as the five members of TXT huddled around in Taehyun and Ye Seo's living room.

"We'll split up. Yeonjun and Huening Kai, you can go back to Yeonjun's and look around his neighbourhood. Soobin and Beomgyu, search around this area. I'll go to her favourite spots and see if she's there." Taehyun explained his plan to the others.

"And if we don't find her?" Huening Kai asked.

"If you can't find her, call me and I'll get you to go to some of Ye Seo's favourite spots for me. Time is of the essence." Taehyun replied, already getting up.

"If we find her?" Beomgyu raised his hand.

"Call me. I'll call everyone else and we'll go to you." Taehyun started to put on his coat and left the living room.

Soobin and Beomgyu walked down the long street that Taehyun and Ye Seo's house was on, poking around in the small alleyways that littered the sides of the street.

"Do you think we can find her?" Beomgyu glanced at Soobin.

"I don't know. Korea's so big, she could be anywhere." Soobin gave Beomgyu a weak smile and sped up.

Beomgyu followed closely behind Soobin as the two of them searched alleyway after alleyway, storm drain after storm drain, but couldn't see a single glimpse of Ye Seo.

"Maybe she's not here..."

"First stop, the park."

Taehyun half-walked, half-ran to the nearby park and spent the next 10 minutes looking around, asking a few passers-by if they had seen Ye Seo. None of them did.

"Damn it. Where the hell are you, Ye Seo?" He muttered after thanking an elderly couple who had told him that they didn't see her.

"Are you hiding somewhere, or have you been kidnapped?"

"Ye Seo! Ye Seo! Where are you?" Huening Kai called out, pushing branches out of the way as he and Yeonjun fought their way through a clump of trees in the middle of a nature reserve near Yeonjun's house.

"She wouldn't be in here. She's a neat freak, and she would never push away so many plants and branches just to hide." Yeonjun showed Huening Kai his hands, which were filthy from touching the dirty plants and branches.

"Sadness makes people do things that they would normally not do." Huening Kai stopped fighting the vegetation.

"But I don't think they go this far."

"Gosh. Ye Seo, please, just text or call me to let me know you're okay." Yeonjun sighed as he glanced at his phone.

"We're all really worried."
