Stargazing [Yeonjun x Reader]

XIV: Running Away

Its Huening Kai's birthday today so I decided to give yall a chapter to celebrate so here you go:)

"Ye Seo! Ye Seo!" Yeonjun yelled as he chased after you. You were quite fast, so you continued speeding ahead of him, chasing Taehyun, who was running too.

Kind of a weird sight, if you ask me.

People were staring, but you didn't care. They didn't face the guilt of lying to their closest family member for 3 years. They didn't just get ignored by their brother who just went home without them. They didn't face anything that you and Taehyun went through.

All of a sudden, Taehyun tripped and fell. He wasn't very athletic, after all.

While he was getting up, you caught up with him and grabbed his wrist.

"Taehyun, I'm so sorry but I only did it because I knew that-" You said before Taehyun angrily interrupted you.

"You knew? You knew? What did you know? Do you know how much embarrassment I felt earlier? Do you know how upset I am now? DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU TOOK CONTROL OF MY LIFE AND RUINED IT? You think you know everything, that you can understand everyone, but no, you can't! No one can! Get out of my sight. And if you try to take control of my life again, I'll make sure that your life is just as ruined as mine." Taehyun shouted.

He pushed you away and kept on running. Yeonjun caught up to you just in time, before you collapsed on the ground and started to weep.

"It's okay, Ye Seo. It's not the end of the world." Yeonjun tried to comfort you, only to get pushed away.

"Don't follow me... I'm not worth your energy..." You mumbled before dashing away.

People stared as the two high school students left the last one sitting on the floor with a bewildered look plastered on his face, and resumed their daily activities as if nothing happened because the bewildered look that turned into a death glare didn't look very appealing at the moment.
