XXXVI: Fun

And a week later, you signed the contract and became an official member of BigHit. In another week, you moved into the dorms and started to apply to SNU.

Months later, you got a reply from them and you got accepted!

You took Astronomy at SNU, and you did quite well since the subject has always been your interest.

In BigHit and HYBE, you picked up guitar, piano, and songwriting, along with the compulsory dance and singing. Life was fun but busy, with you attending school in the mornings and afternoons, and practising in the evenings and nights.

But you lost contact with Eunha and TXT, even Taehyun. All of your high school life seemed like a lifetime ago, and only hazy memories remained of your friends. You got over Yeonjun and prayed that if  TXT did join an entertainment company, it wasn't BigHit.

Anything but BigHit.

Working hard, you learnt different singing and dancing techniques from your trainers, advancing quickly through the compulsory lessons. You were also preparing for your debut, which was scheduled to be around April the following year. It had been a year since you got into SNU and Big Hit, but since there weren't many people taking your course, you didn't make a single friend. Your friends were all older than you, Ho Seok, the trainers, and some of the baristas at the nearby cafe that sold amazing coffee which kept you awake while you were doing your homework at night, watching the stars twinkle in the sky.

It was all the definition of a perfect life...

3 years later...

"Hey, Ye Seo!"

"Yes? Ho Seok, I know you became my manager, and that you are always ready to do anything for me." A smile played at your lips as the older man hopped up and down like an energiser bunny.

"Two new updates! First, the photoshoot for your new album is next Saturday, remember that. Second, we're having a new boy group, and the higher-ups want you to teach them singing techniques."

"What? Why me?" You asked him, and he shrugged.

"Don't ask me, ask Bang PD."

"You're so annoying." You grinned playfully.

There was news that there were trainees in BigHit, but you weren't very concerned. Your career had just taken off, and you were already famous outside Korea for your unique voice and good technique.

And you just graduated, so you had a lot of free time. Enough to teach the newbies.

It's going to be fun, right?
