Stargazing [Yeonjun x Reader]

XXXII: Wednesday

After the combined session, you and TXT left the dance club room.

"I still can't believe y'all can dance so well." You muttered as you swung your bag over your shoulder.

"It looks hard, but with practice, it gets easy." Yeonjun wrapped an arm around your shoulder, his new favourite thing to do.

"Do you want me to teach you?"

"Hell no, I'd rather die." You rolled your eyes at him.

"See you tonight then!" Yeonjun grinned as he walked away from the group.

"We should go home too." Taehyun pulled on your sleeve. Beomgyu, Soobin and Huening Kai were already walking away.

"Right." You grabbed Taehyun and pushed him playfully on the pavement, and Taehyun pushed you back so you two got into a big pushing fight on the way home.

It was a Wednesday, so you had a date/study night with Yeonjun. You wore a comfortable sweater since it was winter, and brought your books to the nearby library, where you saw Yeonjun already waiting at the entrance.

"Hey!" You called out.

"Hi." Yeonjun looked a bit worried, and he was fiddling with his hands, something he only did when he was nervous.

"Anything wrong?" You asked him as you two walked into the library.

"No..." Yeonjun trailed off.

"I know when you're lying, Yeonjun. Spill." You folded your arms and stopped walking.

Yeonjun took a deep breath.

"Eun Woo told me that you don't really like me, and are only with me for popularity. Is it true?"

"What the heck? Do you think that I would be that sort of person?" You flared up.

"He told me that he overheard Eunha talking to you over the phone about it. They're siblings, the whole thing's likely." Yeonjun fired back.

"So you're saying I pretended to try to kill myself so that I could be your girlfriend." You said sarcastically.

"I don't mean that... I just-" Yeonjun started to get flustered.

"Doesn't this prove that you basically have no trust in me, believing every word that comes out of your precious Eun Woo's mouth?" You snapped, interrupting Yeonjun.

"Damn you, Yeonjun. I never knew you were like this. Since you don't trust me, let's break up," You left without waiting for an answer, leaving Yeonjun standing alone just outside the entrance to the library.
