Takemichi

I'm on my couch right now, watching the news—I just finished eating dinner. I was on the phone with Hinata earlier, we just discussed our plans for our wedding coming up.

A yawn escaped my mouth as my eyes remained on the screen TV. Then I suddenly felt hungry again. I stood, scratching the back of my neck. "I think I still have the bag of chips that I bought days ago.." I said to myself as I lazily went to the small kitchen of my apartment. I could still hear the TV as I searched for what I wanted to eat.

'A young woman was found dead in the empty streets of Tokyo. The police still have no idea what truly happened in the incident.'

"Geez. Another dead person.." I muttered, "But this time it's a woman.." I said as I pulled one of the drawers and smiled when I saw the bag of chips that I was looking for. I was about to tear it open but I froze on the spot when I heard the news,

'The young woman was [first name] Sano.'

I flinched and looked at where the TV was. "W-What..?" I saw the news reporter in some kind of alley, holding a microphone with a deadpan look on her face.

'You heard it right, everyone. The young woman was [first name] Sano. The only female member of Japan's most feared crime syndicate was found dead by the police and ambulance that the owner of a nearby store called.'

I could feel my whole body getting cold as my eyes remained on the screen—but I was no longer listening. "T-This can't be real.." I heard myself whisper in a very shaky voice. Then the screen showed the shop owner being interviewed by the police. I saw Naoto was there, but I didn't care at the moment. My mind couldn't stop thinking about [first name].

[first name]-san..

I could feel a tear escape my eye as I stared at the screen. I looked down and watched my tears hit the floor. "If only I-" I didn't let myself finish—I just sobbed.

I could've saved her..

Draken was watching the news. When the news about [first name]'s death came in, he immediately turned the TV off—he didn't want to hear it, because he knows how he would feel. He gripped the remote of his TV tight and furiously threw it directly at the screen of the TV in his bike shop. He screamed as hot tears streamed down his face, then he began throwing everything that he sees near him.

"STUPID NEWS!!" He yelled as he kicked the TV, causing the screen to shatter more. "STUPID FUCKING NEWS!"

The last time that he talked to her was 10 years ago. Then he began to recall everything about her, causing his heart to ache more. Draken could feel his chest rise and fall as he stood in front of all the things in his shop that he had just broken. He balled his hands into a fist and softly sobbed.

"[first name]-san.."

Inui heard the news from the other room in the bike shop. He stared deep into space—he felt like his heart shattered into a million pieces, but he remained composed. Then he stood up with his head hanging low and went outside the shop.
