Takeomi couldn't take his eyes off the rusty old car, parked outside Shinichiro's bike shop. It's hard to tell what type of car it is because of all the dust and rust, but Takeomi thinks that it's a Honda S2000–he heard that the car launched on year 1999, which is only a year ago. "Uhh, Shin?" he called, with his eyes not leaving the car in front of him.

Shinichiro hummed in response, as he continues tinkering inside his bike shop, while Takeomi stood outside, staring at the rusty car, "What's a crappy car doing outside your shop?" he asked.

Shinichiro stood up, stretching his back, "That's [first name]'s car.." he said, putting his tools back in the box.

Takeomi flinched and his eyes widened in shock, "H-Huh?!" he exclaimed, causing Shinichiro to look over his shoulder to see the look on Takeomi's face. "She saw that car on a junkyard a week ago, and she wouldn't shut up about it so I bought it for her.." said Shinchiro as he went to where Takeomi is, wiping his hands on his coveralls.

Takeomi gave him a weird look, "You wasted your money for this piece of crap?" he said, pointing at the car.

Shinichiro sighed heavily, "I'm afraid so.." he said.

Takeomi tilted his head at the car, "What did your sister even see in this?" he said, still in disbelief.

"I have no idea," said Shinichiro, closing his eyes. "When I bought it, it didn't even have tires." he said, recalling how he struggled getting the car—he remembered that he paid a truck driver just to get the car out of the junkyard.

Takeomi raised a brow at him, "Really?" he said, earning a nod from Shinichiro. Then his eyes went back to the car, "Then..where did those come from?" he asked, pointing at the tires.

Shinichiro opened his eyes and looked at wherr Takeomi is looking at, "I have no idea, but [first name]'s the one who installed it," he said, Takeomi looked at him, slightly amused with what he just heard. "She's been trying to get that car working for days now," said Shinichiro, smiling a little.

Takeomi's eyes widened in shock again, "You only taught her how to repair a motorcycle??" he said, getting a little confused. "When the hell did [first name]-chan learn how to repair a trashy car?!" he exclaimed.

Shinichiro shrugged, "Beats me, all I know is that she's interested in street racing.." said Shinichiro, smiling at the thought of his sister wanting to become a street racer.

"Really?? Wow.." said Takeomi, imagining if [first name] really did become a street racer. "If she wants to become a street racer, I think she should've just picked a car that isn't...crappy?" he said awkwardly.

Shinichiro rubbed the back of his neck, "I'm thinking the same exact thing.." he said as he turned his back on Takeomi and went back inside his shop, "She said she's gonna give it a 'major' makeover." said Shinichiro, air quoting the word major.

Takeomi yawned and followed Shinichiro, "What that car needs is a miracle.." he said boringly, causing Shinichiro to laugh.

—three days later—

It's Saturday, and Wakasa wanted to spend time with [first name]—of course, he's having second thoughts about it, because he knows [first name]'s a busy girl. If she's not doing any schoolwork, she's at Shinichiro's bike shop...or looking after her younger siblings.
