I'm currently outside, sitting on our front porch with Emma on my lap—I'm braiding her hair at the moment. I took a deep breath and sighed, "It's been 3 days, Big bro.." I said to Shinichiro, who's in front of me, on his knees—begging me to become a member of Black Dragon. I'm finally done braiding Emma's hair, she stood up and thanked me. I gave her a smile then she ran back inside, giggling. Then my attention went back to the desperate-looking Shinichiro, giving me puppy dog eyes, I gave him an emotionless stare and said, "My answer is still no."

He stood up pulling his own hair in frustration, "Come on!" he pleaded as he sat beside me. I gave him a teasing grin, I can tell he was getting annoyed, "And you really think that your lame puppy dog eyes can change my mind?"  I said. I heard him groaning in annoyance as he gave me a glare. I covered my mouth, chuckling, "What are you? Five?" I teased.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then he turned to me with his eyes filled with desperation, "Come on, [first name]! What's wrong with joining Black Dragon?? Is it because of me? Do you find it embarrassing that your gang leader is actually your awesome big brother???" he said.

I raised a brow at him, slightly unamused with what he just said. "No..? That's actually not the reason.." I said to him, a little annoyed.

"Then what's the reason?? Tell me." he said impatiently.

I looked up at the blue sky above us, "Well, first of all, you know that I find delinquents lame.."
I said to him, "Yeah..?" he waited for what I'm about to say next.

"Just like how I find you lame.." I said boringly.

He scowled at me, "Okay...anything else?"

I put a finger on my chin, thinking about other reasons why I don't want to join Black Dragon. I shrugged and said, "Okay, you're right, it's mainly because of you.." He put a palm on his face, "If I join Black Dragon, I'm pretty sure I'm always gonna be with you, following you..and of course, me, being your sister, who lives in the same house with you....I don't want that." I added.

He looked at me and confidently said, "Why?You should be happy that you're with your awesome, lovable brother 24/7.." I gave him a weird look, this cocky idiot really thinks that he's lovable, and all I can say to him right now is,

"Ew."

He flinched at my reaction, "E-Ew?" he said, giving me an offended look. I was about to say something but I was interrupted by another voice near us, "Who in the world told you that you're lovable??" We looked behind us and it was Manjiro, looking at Shinichiro weirdly.

Shinichiro flinched again, but this time it was because of Manjiro's words. "T-That's kinda mean, Mikey.." said Shinichiro, holding his chest, sounding really offended. I covered my mouth, preventing myself to laugh at what I'm witnessing. Then Emma came back and went beside Manjiro, "Not only that, I want to know who told you that you're actually awesome.." she said, crossing her arms at Shinichiro.

Shinichiro buried his face in his knees and said, "N-Not you too, Emma.."

Then Manjiro went up to us, "Why would someone even think that you're awesome? I mean, have they seen that hair of yours?" he said, pointing at Shinichiro's hair.

I snorted and immediately covered my mouth. Emma giggled and pointed at Shinichiro's hair, "You still have that weird hairstyle!" she said, giggling. That's when I lost it and laughed my ass off.

I stopped laughing when Shinichiro turned to me, looking at me with his eyes filled with desperation. "Come on, [first name]! What do you want me to do just for you to finally agree?!"
