At the Tachibana family's apartment complex, Takemichi and Hinata stand side by side outside the flat. Takemichi tells Hinata how adverse his experiences were on his first time leap, but he came to the Tachibanas' home in the end just to see her.

Takemichi held his necklace and took a deep breath. He looked down over his shoulder to look at hi girlfriend. He gave her a determined smile and said, "I'll be back, Hina."

Hinata gave him a warm smile and said, "Very well. I'll be waiting for you!"

This is it.

The day of the battle.

I walked down the stairs, whistling a song. When I reached the ground floor, I immediately pulled out the keys of my bike. I looked at where I parked it and saw that it was still there. I continued whistling a song as I went to where my bike is.

"Talking to Hina sure did calm me," I said as I said as I was about to get on my bike. Then I heard someone spoke behind me, which almost gave me a heart attack.

"Glad that I finally found you."

"GAAAAAAH!" I screamed as I got off my bike and quickly turned to where I heard the voice. And I was shocked to see the least expected person that I expected to see. She was wearing a sarashi, wrapped around her chest area, revealing her small waist and flat stomach, and she was wearing...Kantou Manji Gang's uniform. I gulped—the person in front of me is no other than...Kantou Manji Gang's Vice President.

"[f-first name]-san??"

"Damn, Hanagaki-kun," she said, rubbing her ears. "I didn't know a dude like you could scream like a girl.."

I flinched. I could feel my cheeks heating up due to embarrassment. "S-Sorry!"

She put her hands inside the pockets of her pants and took a few steps closer to me, "No, I'm sorry." she corrected. "I shouldn't have sneak up on you like that." she added.

I gave her a nod. "W-What are you doing here, [first name]-san?" I asked, getting a little nervous—because she's wearing her uniform.

She stayed quiet for a moment. Then she looked down at the cemented ground and sighed, "I'm not here to cause any trouble, kid, just so you know," she said in a very down tone. I flinched a little at her words—thank God.

"I'm aware about the battle later, I just.." then she looked at me straight in the eyes and said. "I just want to talk to you." I was taken aback by her words. This is all just so sudden. [first name]-san...wants to talk to me...in the day of the war..?

Then the cold look on her face faded. She gave me a small smile and said, "I'm not Kantou's Vice President at this very moment, okay..?"

I gave her a smile and nod, "What is it that you want to talk about [first name]-san?" I questioned. I placed a hand at the back of my head and rubbed it a little, "I'm a little confused that you put an effort to find me.."

"Well, I got some help from someone dear to me," she said as she pulled out a cigarette from the pocket of her jacket. "Anyways, let's get back to the reason why I'm here." she said as she put the cigarette in her mouth and lit it up.
