"Mommy! Daddy!"

A 5-year-old little girl cried for her parents as she ran through the halls of their house, "Mommy! Daddy!" The little girl cried out once more as she entered the living room where her parents currently were. The little girl's mother was sitting on a couch while her father was sitting on another couch reading a newspaper. "Mommy! Daddy! I can't find Shinichiro!" the little girl cried once again. Her father flinched when he heard his daughter's voice, causing him to accidentally let go of his newspaper. Her mother watched her daughter run her way to her, with tears still streaming down her cute gentle face, "Aw, why is my little angel crying?" said the mother as she picked her little daughter up and gently placed her on her lap, wiping some of her daughter'stears with her delicate fingers.

The little girl sniffed and tried forcing her tears to stop, "M-Mommy..I can't find, Shinichiro! He's not in his room! He might be in danger, mommy!" she said as tears continued forming in her eyes. Her parents couldn't help but chuckle, thinking how adorable their daughter was, and they find it quite cute that their daughter is really close to her older brother. "He must be outside, angel face," said the father, trying to calm his daughter, then cheerfully said, "There's no need to cry!"

The little girl whimpered as her mother hugged her, "Your father's right, [first name], your big brother's probably just playing outside!" She said. The little girl named [first name] folded her lips as she looked away to avoid her parents' stares, still trying her best to stop crying. Then her grandfather entered the room, saying, "Shinichiro went out to play with his friend." [first name] heard her grandfather's voice, which caused her to swiftly turn her head to see where he was, "Granddaddy!" She said as she jumped off her mother's lap to hug her grandfather tight. [first mame]'s mother couldn't help but smile at the sight.

[first name]'s grandfather pulled away and gave his granddaughter a bright smile, "How about I teach you how to do a spinning hook kick?" He asked in excitement. [first name]'s tears vanished as her eyes grew in amazement after hearing her grandfather's words, "Ooh...I don't know what that is, but that sounds so cool, granddaddy!"

[first name]'s father heard their conversation, and he wasn't quite happy about it, "Dad, I don't think that's a good idea, [nickname] might hurt herself.." he said, sadly looking at his father. His father gave him a blank look as he held his granddaughter's small hand and said, "She won't. She'll learn how to defend herself when she's older.."

"I still don't think it's a good idea, Dad.."

"Oh, shut up, I'm teaching my granddaughter whether you like it or not." said the aged man as he walked out the room with his granddaughter.

[first name]'s father slouched and felt a little annoyed, "I don't want my daughter to become violent when she grows up.." he mumbled, his wife heard, which caused her to giggle. "I think that will not happen..[first name]'s too sweet.." she said.

Then they heard their front door opening, "Mom! Dad! I'm home!" they heard their son's voice—it was Shinichiro, their eldest child. "In the living room, dear!" said the mother.

Shinichiro walked in and saw his parents, "Sorry for not letting you know that I'm going out." he said sincerely. His father smiled at him, "It's alright, buddy. But I think you should apologize to your sister, she cried when she didn't see you in your room." he said.

Shinichiro became a little nervous and at the same time guilty, "Really?" he said. His parents nodded. "You know your sister..she always wants you by her side." said his mother with a warm smile on her face.
