Jack POV

I got in the gym to find Shawn sitting on the bleachers and Regan scrambling around with other girls and setting up the nets. I climbed up the bleachers and plopped down next to Shawn. "Hey bro." i smiled and he greeted me back. "Did you only come to see girls in spandex?" I wondered sarcastically. "Nah. Did you?" He fired back and I just laughed in response. Within the next 3 minutes, the girls were all playing. Diving across the court to save the ball, springing up to block a hit, I missed seeing Regan play. This and cheer was her whole life until she was asked to come to Magcon and she had to drop it all. I felt so terrible for her but seeing her play now, it was worth it. "She's really good." Shawn complimented as he witnessed her jumping up and killing a ball through a block and right in the center of the court. Not one girl made an attempt to save the ball. "Ayee!! Chic Chic Boom! Reload!" Her team cheered. "Not even gonna try to save that!" Alora, one of her best friends here, Yelled. Sarah, the girl that didn't try to get the ball, just glared at her. "I'll get it!" She yelled back. "Good luck." Alora chuckled. "Damn they're seriously competitive." Shawn whispered towards me. "You should see them at games." I replied.

Regan POV

We continued playing until the other team scored a point on us. Sarah was up to serve and I was now in the back row. I could tell she was gonna aim for me and sure enough, she did. The serve was an easy soft serve right at me and I got a good pass to the setter. Our setter set it to Alora and she got a damn good kill out of it, and we got the point. "That's not even fair!" Sarah complained. "What do you mean?! We got a great play out of it!" Alora defended. "That was a good serve!" "obviously not good enough." I said only loud enough that I thought Alora could hear. But Apparently sarah heard that too. "That was a great hard serve! You shouldn't be able to get a good dig out of that!" Sarah tried to defend herself. "well obviously I got a good up out of it. And honey that was the easiest serve ever. You know 12 year olds serve way better than you" I said to her. "Regan stop!" i heard my brother yell from behind me. I looked up at him and I obeyed. I went back to my position and we continued to play, honestly Sarah was out for me the whole time we were playing. Not gonna lie, I'm ready to fight her.

Shawn POV

I was just sitting on the bleachers thinking about that kiss. The whole time she was playing, I couldn't help but look at her and only her. I mean, how can I take my eyes off of her. No matter how many times she tries to deny it, she is all around beautiful. And that kiss made it feel like she was all mine again. But my train of thought was cut off by Regan and some other girl yelling at each other again. "youre not even a good player! they probably asked you to Magcon because they didn't want you to humiliate yourself on the court anymore. I mean seriously, it's a horrific sight." Sarah yelled at Regan. She was now walking across the court towards Regan. "You put the whore in horrific!" Sarah yelled again and she was now on the other side of the net coming closer to Regan. "You didn't desserve the last spot on the team! And you definitely did not deserve to take my position!" "I earned my position as middle front! You kept trying to overcome me!" Regan yelled back. Sarah then pushed Regan and Regan full on lunged at her. Sarah fumbled onto the floor and Regan was on top of her punching her. Jack and I quickly ran down the bleachers and towards the girls. "You're a fucking bitch!" Regan yelled and Sarah flipped them over. Sarah stood up and began kicking Regan. Jack pulled Sarah off of Regan. I ran straight to Regan and helped her up, embracing her in my arms. "You're a fucking slut! You don't fucking desserve Shawn he's way to good for you!" Sarah yelled trying to escape Gilinsky. "Let go of me Shawn! I'm gonna beat her face in!" Regan yelled now trying to escape from me. "Shh.... stop. You're ok." I tried to comfort. "useless ass bitch can't even fight and defend herself!" Sarah yelled. without a doubt, Regan was out of my arms and launched towards Sarah. She pulled Sarah by her hair and threw her down. I rushed to Regan again and pulled her apart from Sarah. "Sarah you need to stop!" alora yelled and pulled her up from the floor and pushed her. "All of you are fucking lost!" She stomped off to grab her bag and stormed out of the gym. "I'm sorry guys, we're taking Regan home now. " jack said and went to go get her bag for her. "Are you ok baby?" I asked and held onto Regan waist as she had an arm over my shoulder. She nodded and attempted to walk away but ended up limping in the process. "Stop, you're gonna hurt yourself." I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen. I shook my head and picked her up bridal style. "Shawn I'm fine! put me down!" She tried to say but I wouldn't listen. "Please, I'm doing this cause I Care about you. "I said.Regan blushed and smiled at me. She leaned up to kiss my cheek.
