Farewell Flights

Regan POV

*after the bonfire @ the airport*

We were all waiting for our flights to arrive. Slowly one after the other, people's flights began to arrive and take off. We gave each other hugs and made sure to keep in contact and visit each other if we were ever near by.

It was finally 12pm and The only person left was Shawn. The Jacks, Sammy and I were all taking the same flight back home and were planning to crash at our house.

Shawn and I were talking to each other, trying to make every minute we had left with one another count. Shawn and I were sitting next to each other and my legs were laid across his lap.

'Flight to Canada is now boarding' the speakers announced.

Shawn and I both looked at each other with sadden expressions plastered on our face. I sighed and stood up and offered Shawn a hand. He took it and towered over me. I wrapped my arms around his back and his around mine.

We stood there for a minute continuing to embrace one another. "Regan, if you don't let go, he's gonna miss his flight." I heard my brother inform from behind me. "Good then he can come with us!" I pouted in a muffled tone with my face hidden in Shawn's chest.

"You're gonna miss your flight too." He added. I released Shawn and turned to face my brother and threw him a questioning look with tears wanting to pour out from my eyes. "Our flight doesn't leave till 1am. I don't want him to leave."I pouted with a tear spilling from my eye and my arms wrapped around Shawn causing me to give him a side hug.

"Actually your flights leaving right now, with Shawn." Jack grinned. I was shocked. "Seriously? You better not be joking!" I warned. But to prove me wrong, JackJack pulled out a plane ticket and held it out for me. I took it in my own hands and read it.

'Flight To Canada'

I smiled brightly and ran to my brother and jumped in his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. "You better go, or both of you are gonna miss you're flight." My brother laughs.

"Thanks for doing this man." Shawn smiled as i went back to join him. "Wait you guys planned this?!" I questioned and all of them nodded with a small grin. "And without me finding out in any way?!" They nodded again. "How?!" I asked a little bit louder than I had hope.

"You slept in a seperate room from us so it was kinda easy." Johnson explained. I shook my head laughing. "Slyyyy...." I smirked at them.

'Flight to Canada is now boarding' the speaker yet again announced.

"You better go." Sammy instructed. I smiled and ran over to him throwing my arms around his neck. I felt another body come behind me and wrap their arms around Sammy and I. It was Johnson. "Be good." Johnson smiled as they both released me from being sandwiched.

I turned to my brother and he smiled at me with open arms. I ran into his arms and he hugged me and picked me up a little. "I love you ReggyBear." Jack spoke into my hair. "I love you too JackJack." I smiled and he let go.

I walked back over to Shawn, grabbing my suitcase, guitar, and duffle back.

As I was walking off the the gates with Shawn, Sammy and the Jacks kept yelling behind me. "Bye bunny!!" "We'll miss you Regan!!" "Be careful ReggyBear!!" I gave the lady my ticket and turned back and waved to the guys. I waited for Shawn and we began to walk hand in hand onto the plane.

Once my things were put away and Shawn and I were settled into our seats, my phone vibrated with a text. I pulled it out of my pocket to see my brothers name glowing on the screen.

'Text me when you land. I love you baby sister ❤️'

I smiled and texted back, 'love you more big bro. Thank you so much☺️'

With that, I turned my phone off and place my head on the window with Shawn's head laid on my shoulder.
