Get Over It

Regan POV

I woke up in the hotel room and turned on my side to glance over at my clock

10:45am

I mentally debated if I should get up. I looked out of the window and see the sun peeking in through the closed curtains

*ding*

My phone went off with a text from Sam

Sammy- morning reg, u up

Me- morning:)

Sammy- wanna go on a run?

Me- ok I'll stop by in 10

Sammy- k I'll get ready now. Btw no need for make up

*end of text*

I rolled my eyes. He knows how uncomfortable I am with walking out in public with out make up

I got out of bed and went to my drawers and picked out a pair of black running shorts and maroon comfy v-neck. The v-neck wasn't that deep though

I walked into the bathroom, slid on my running cloths, and continued with my morning routine

I threw my wavy hair into a ponytail and put on just a few swipes of mascara

As I walked out of the bathroom to grab my phone and earbuds, Mahogany was already sitting up in her bed and srolling on her phone.

"I'm going for a run with Sammy. Be back in a few minutes." I informed her as I grabbed light black zip up jacket and threw on my black and red nike elites. I threw on my black nike free runs and laced them up

"I don't understand how you can wake up and Automatically go for a run?" She questions

I laughed and shrugged As I wAlked out of the door.

I put in one earbud and knocked on JackJack's door

Sam opened the door and joined me out in the hallway.

"Ready to eat my dust?" Sam questions as we walk towards the elevator

"Ready to kiss my butt while im running ahead of you?" I retort back

We both laugh at each other and finally get down to the lobby and outside of the hotel

"I wanna try to go around the block this time." I suggest

"I'll follow you." Sam says as we both plug in our earbuds

"Oh yeah, while you're trying to follow from behind me, don't forget to kiss my butt and eat my dust!" I call and run ahead of him.

I could hear him laughing from behind and within less than a minute, Sam caught up to me and was now running beside me

"Looks like I don't have to do neither of those things anymore" he chuckles while running beside me

I crack a smile and we continue to listen to our music and run.

We finally got back to the hotel and it was now 11:08am as we were heading inside

"You got a lot faster." Sam admits through huffs of breath. I simply smile and we took the elevator back up to our room.

I got into my room. I took off my jacket and threw it to my bedside

"Why is it so hot In here?!" I exclaim as I go to grab a pair of black sweatpants, a white obey tank top, along with all the other clothing you use after you take a shower.

"You just got back from a run!" Mahogany exclaims. "I'm gonna take a shower and hopefully that will cool me down." I say and walked into the bathroom shutting the door behind me
