Forgive and Forget?

Jack(Regan's Brother) POV

She held out her left arm and slightly lifted up her shirt.

I scanned her arm and stomach and saw red puffy cuts scatter all over her.

I was shocked.

"Why did you do this?" I asked and looked at her brown eyes dripping tears.

"You know why" She stuttered. "You yelled at me and you know I can't take that. You know everything that effects me and causes me to do this. and you still did it anyways." Regan said back.

I didn't realize how mean I was being to her at the time until she explained it to me now.

And it broke my heart to see that I caused her to do this.

"I'm so sor-" I tried to explained but Regan cut me off.

"Shut up Jack. I already know how you feel about me." She says

Shawn stood there in surprise and slowly walked out of the room.

"I'm serious Regan. I am really sorry." I try to apologize again

"No cause I already know how you feel about me and it's obvious that you're tired of putting up with me" Regan cries

"ReggyBear don't say that. I love you more than any girl in this world"

"Well, it looks like your gonna have to find another girl to love. And I'm sure that won't be hard for you." She retorts and stomps out of the room while slamming the door behind her.

Regan POV

I marched out of Jacks room and went back to mine.

"What happened! Are you ok?" Mahogany asked obviously worried about me. "and what happened to your shirt?"

"Nothing, I'm gonna change and go out for a walk." I explained as I walked to my drawers and picked out my PRIDE. All Stars hoodie.

I slid it over my head and grabbed my phone and earbuds off the nightstand.

I walked out of the room and took the elevator down to the lobby hoping to avoid everyone.

I looked down at my phone an shoved an earbud into my ear.

I suddenly bumped into someone and quickly looked up from my phone.

I saw Cameron in front of me and he smiled politely

"You ok?" He asked while giving me a hug.

"I'm fine" I began

"Don't lie. Where were you going?" He questioned.

" For a walk."

"It's getting late."

"I do this all the time."

He gave me a strange look and I looked down to avoid eye contact.

"Regan, I know something is bothering you. do you mind if I join you on your walk and we can talk about it?" Cameron asked as he swooped his arm around my shoulder and we began walking out of the hotel

As we were walking, I explained everything to him

"He really said that to you?" Cam questioned seeming a little taken back.

I nodded with a frown.

"And I did this cause of what happened" I said as I pulled up my left sleeve.

He grabbed my arm and looked at it with tears threatening to fall.

We sat at a bench and he examined my arm some more.

" Regan, you know he doesn't mean any of this" Cameron explains. "did he at least say sorry?"

"He tried. He said that I was his favorite girl and that he loved me and I told him that he's gonna have to find another girl to love." I explained.

Now that I heard myself say it out loud, I thought it was pretty harsh. But, I still didn't feel bad for it.

Cameron was about to say something but a dark figure came running up in the distance and was yelling my name.

The figure finally got into the light and I saw it was Jack.

He came up to us and looked at Cameron.

"You mind if I have a minute with Regan?" He asked.

Cameron nodded and said that he would just meet us back at the hotel.

After he left, Jack took a seat next to me.

I looked away from him and crossed my arms

"Regan please. I need my little sister back, even though we haven't been seprecated for that long, it still feels like forever." He explained.

"Well a lot of stuff did happen between that time." I admitted.

"Regan please look at me." Jack asked.

I slowly turned my head towards him and saw his Brown eyes were now red with tear stains.

"I love you and everything I said to you earlier wasn't even close to the truth. You may not realize it but you're preparing me to be a dad, if it ever happens. And you're teaching me how to be more responsible. And I'm so blessed to have a sister like you in my life." Jack explains while placing his hand over mine.

I took some time to process what he said to me.

I finally tackled him with a hug and rested my head in his chest

"I love you so much ReggyBear." Jack said once again.

"I love you too JackJack."

We spent a few more minutes just talking to each other and comforting one another

"I know you love Frozen Yogurt. There's a FroYo shop a couple minutes from here." Jack asked

"You're craving frozen yogurt right now aren't you?" I questioned

"Please?" he asked again.

I rolled my eyes and got up nudging my head in the direction of the frozen yogurt shop.
