Regan POV

After a good 20 minute ride to Irene's house, I finally arrived and was greeted by Jaylen, another volleyball teammate. "Hey superstar! You're finally back!" Irene cheers in excitement and hugs me. "Hey it's good to be back!" I declared. "Hate to be nosey but we saw the stuff on twitter." Jaylen began. I sat down on the couch across from her. "Yeah... A lot went down." I sighed. "Well to get your mind off all this, wanna go out to a party tonight?" Irene wondered. "That sounds good! You know, take a break from everything." Jaylen agreed. "How am I supposed to get around my brother?" I questioned. "Weren't you mad at him?" Jaylen fires back making a pretty good point. "Yea, but he's been a little more protective. Just cause he knows I'm mad at him still." I explained. "Just say you're sleeping over at my house." Irene suggests. "Yeah I can drive so you can go back and get some clothes." Jaylen offered. "But what about your mom?" I asked directing towards Irene. "Sneak out..." Irene whispers. I've snuck out a lot in the past couple of months. I felt like something was holding me back, telling me that I shouldn't go. Irene and Jaylen waited for my answer. "Looks like I'm sleeping over." I gave in. For a couple of hours, we sat in the living room watching movies. I checked my phone and the time read '5:47pm'. "We should go pick up our clothes now." I suggested. The girls nodded in response as we all slid on our shoes and hopped into Jaylen's car and took off towards my place. They dropped me off at the front door and drove to Jaylen's house to get her things too. I walked into the house and ran upstairs to my room. As I entered my room, my phone rang with a text:
Ky: hey our family got transferred back to Cal😁
OG: yea we gotta kick this off the right way!
Me: got anything planned tonight?
Ky: nope...
OG: none
Me: party tonight. I'll text u more info in a few
Ky: I'm down👌
OG: see ya tonight babe😘
After texting them, I walked to my closet to pick out something to wear for the party. Took me a while, but I decided on a black crop top, a pair of light washed jean shorts with studs on the side and a couple of small rips,a thin floral cardigan, and my black low cut combat boots with golden studs on the side. I threw the outfit into my bag along with other needed supplies. I slung my bag around one shoulder and grabbed my phone in the other hand. I headed downstairs and attempted for the front door. "Where you heading off to?" Jack stopped me by calling from the living room. "Sleepover at Irene's." I explained. "Ok bye. Be Careful!!" Jack stated. I rolled my eyes and walked out to find the girls already waiting in the driveway. I joined them in the car and we zoomed off.
*after the car ride*
We got back to Irene's house and hung out in her room until the clock was about to hit 9pm. We decided to get ready and start planning how we were sneakin out. As I was getting ready, I texted the information to Ky and OG. I threw on the outfit and kept my hair straight. I decided to mix things up with my make up and add a bit of a smokey eyeshadow effect and whipped some red lip stick onto my lips. When we were all done getting ready, it was already 10:46pm. Irene decided that we should go out through the window cause we can easily get on the shed that was placed outside of her window and climb down. We did so and opened her back gate that led to Jaylen's car. Before you know it, the 3 of us were on our way to the party.
