Ch: Fix the Shattered Girl

Jack POV

Through the flight, and the cab ride to the hotel, I can tell there was something up with Regan. I wanted to acknowledge it but I didn't want to set her off.

As of now, we were all in our own rooms and just chillin. That was until mahogany came into the room with Regan. "Hey guys." She says casually with Regan following behind and coming to sit next me on the bed. "You ok baby girl?" I whisper to her. She shrugged her shoulders. "Could be better but at the same time, I'm never just okay." Regan explained.

I knew it was true and couldn't deny it. But I wanna make her feel better. "Did you talk to Mahogany about whatever is causing you to feel like this?" I wondered. "Kinda...." Regan said as she leaned against my chest and I wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"Frozen Yogurt?" I then offered. A small smirk grew on Regan's face. "I'm not dressed though." She attempted to argue. Regan was still in her cloths that she wore to the airport."I'm wearing basketball shorts, nike socks, vans and a t shirt. You'll be fine." I laughed while rubbing her shoulder. "Fine lets go." She gave in and got up exiting the room.

As we walked out the the room together, we got down to the lobby and saw Shawn. As he passed by me, I quickly tapped his back to get his attention. "Come with us for frozen yogurt." I offered.

"Umm... I'm actually good but-" he began but I grabbed him by his wrist and pulled him behind me following Regan out of the hotel.

The three of us walked to the frozen yogurt shop silently, awkward.

Regan POV

When we got to the frozen yogurt shop, I grabbed a cup and Shawn came up to me. "You mind if I share with you? I'm not very hungry." He asked and I nodded In approval. Shawn and I got birthday cake batter flavor with rainbow sprinkles.

We then joined Jack who was already enjoying his own dessert.

"So..." Shawn spoke awkwardly while taking a bite of the frozen treat. "Honestly, Regan is hiding something. I'm not gonna push you to say it but I feel that it has to do with Shawn." Jack puzzled together

Shawn gave me a hopeful look and I already knew what he was about to tell my brother. But I nodded in approval.

He then went on to explaining what happened between the two of us involving the kiss, the Starbucks thing, and us sleeping together in Canada.

He looked at us not with raging angry eyes but water crystally colored ones instead. "Jack what's wrong..." I asked while taking a bite of frozen yogurt.

"If you guys really feel that close with each other, I give you permission to be together again." He began. "Jack you've said that so many-" I then tried to add but he stopped me.

"Listen, as much as I hate to accept it, you're growing up. I can't sit here And baby you endlessly. Your on your way towards the adult road, and I have to let go. "Jack admits. Shawn and I both sat there processing what my brother had to say.

"Umm... It's obvious that both of us really want to get back together. But I'm just afraid to take that step." I spoke. "Regan, are you afraid of me?" Shawn questions.

"I'm afraid we're taking things a little too fast." I corrected. "Look, I don't want you to feel that way. I've seen you at your highest highs and lowest lows. And still, that hasn't changed how I feel about you. If anything, my love for you just increased by 1000% I'm not trying to bribe you into the relationship, I'm just telling you that I will never stop loving you." Shawn says with his hand lightly placed onto my knee.

"If it were up to me, I would pick Shawn over any guy." Jack slightly pushed and I shot him a glare. "Jack can you please go? I want to talk to Shawn. Just Shawn." I asked trying not to seem tense.

He nodded in acceptance and took our finished frozen yogurt cups and threw them away as he walked out of the store. "Let's go on a walk." I advised as I stood up from my seat and Shawn followed behind.

We began walking through a park and I finally decided to speak through the awkward time. "Im not afraid of you." I spoke. "I'm afraid of us." Shawn then quickly looked down at me. "Regan, I've seen you go through some dark paths. You don't have to be afraid of us."

"But everything we went through. After all the crap that's happened to me, I don't want that to happen to you." I admitted. Shawn then stopped and embraced me in a reassuring hug. "Nothing will happen to me. And I will never ever let anything happen to you ever again. I love you too much to let this go. That's why I'm so madly in love with you and I want you to be mine. Just mine."Shawn said In a hushed and comforting tone.

It took me awhile to think about everything until I finally said. "I will never let you go."

I then wrapped my arms around his neck and he picked me up letting me wrap my legs cling around his hips. "I love you so much." He whispered into my hair.
