Freakin Morning Struggles

Regan POV

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I woke up to the alaram on my phone going off. i read the label on the alram and it said

'7am MORNING VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE'

"Damn it..." i mumble as i turned to lay on my back. I began scrolling through my twitter feed for a couple of minutes before getting up. I hear the door creek open and i peek up from my phone.

"Morning Reggy-Bear" My brother Jack greets.

"Morning JackJack" I say as i look back down at my screen.

"You have morning practice" He says while walking into my room and sitting on my bed side.

I groan in annoyance. "It's too early for morning practice! And on a weekend?!"

"Thats kinda why it's called morning practice. But get ready and i'll drive you there." He says.

I ignore him and tweet "Morning practices suck ass"

Jack grabs my phone, "Are you paying attention?" He questions.

"Yeah....I needa get ready." I say while sitting up in bed.

"Ok, and Regan, You're not allowed to say ass" Jack says with a slight giggle and tosses my phone back to me.

"Actually, i didn't say it. I tweeted it." I says with a little smile.

Jack walks out of the room and says, "I'm making a smoothie, You want one?"

"Yasssss!" I laugh.

I then finally get out of bed and throw on a pair of nike pro spandex, my Farewesterns tournament T-shirt, and a pair of black and white nike elites. I also slip on some sweatpants and our team hoodie because it was a little chilly in the mornings.

I look into my make up table's mirror and take out a nike headband and a hair tye. I quickly throw my long, brown, naturally wavey hair into a pony tail and slide on the nike head band. To bring out my brown eyes, i put on some light mascara. Let's just say that i'm not comfortable with walking out of the house naked face.

I go over to my bathroom and continue with my morning routine. I walk back to my room and grab my volleyball bag and phone. I walk down the stairs and to the kitchen to see Jack pouring a smoothie in a 'To-go' cup for me.

"Here." Jack says while sliding the smoothie into the side pocket of my bag.

I smile at him and grab a water bottle from the fridge and shove it into the other pocket.

"You take your medicane?" Jack asks while grabbing the keys off the kitchen table. I nod.

"What about your anti-depressant pill?" He questions.

"I'll take it when i get back from practice." I say while walking past him and towards the front door. I slide on an old pair of black ugg boots and call for Jack.

"JackJack let's go!" I mid way yell.

"Ok, Let's go." He says as i open the door walk out to the car. He soon follows me and unlocks the door.

As i open the passenger door, Jack stops me and points to the drivers seat.

"Jack i don't wanna drive, it's too early." I complain.

"So i guess that means that you don't want your drivers permit either?" he questions with a half smirk knowing that he had already won the argument.

"Shut up..." i mumble as i take the car keys from him and roll my eyes.

We get in the car and i turn on the car engine. As i'm about to back out of the drive way, Jack stops me.

"Wait, take your anti-depression pill before you start driving." He says while holding a little pill in his hand.

I huff and roll my eyes. i take the pill from his hand and he gives me my water bottle from my bag. I gulp the pill down and hand him back the water bottle.

"There happy?" I question.

"Yep, now you can start driving."

I again back out of the driveway and begin driving towards the highschool we practice at. Jack calmly sits there playing on his phone. He knows i'm a decent driver and trusts me behind the wheel.

We finally pull into the highschool's parking lot and i turn off the car engin. I step out of the car and Jack walks around and hands me my bag.

"i'll be back at 10am to pick you up right?" Jack asks while slipping the bag onto my shoulder. I nod in response.

"Ok, be good. Love you Reggy-Bear" Jack says while kissing the top of my head.

"Love u too JackJack." I say before walknig into the gym.
