Chapter 16: Hold me

Arabella

"Hey baby. How was your day?".

Snuggling into my duvet, I held the phone up to my face smiling at the sight of Alec lying on his bed. His arm rested behind his head as he stared at me with a soft smile on his face.

I had tried to keep my eyes on his, but it wasn't easy when he was lying there completely shirtless.

"It was good. But I miss you" I pouted, desperate for one of his hugs.

Face time was cool, but it wasn't the same as having him here with me.

"I know baby, and I miss you even more. But it won't be long. I'll be home before you know it" he grinned trying his very best to keep me happy.

"Are you eating and sleeping well?" he changed the topic seeing me look defeated at another night alone.

"Yup. Leon forced me to eat the biggest breakfast and even made me the cutest packed lunch. He made me a heart shaped sandwich. As for sleep, I had a good night. But it wasn't the same without you".

Alec had made it very clear from the start of his desire to be with me. And when I was ill, he'd stay with me if Leon wasn't there.

He'd place me on top of him and use his arms along with the duvet to keep me warm.

And no joke, it would be the best sleep ever.

"Arabella, no pouting" Alec scolded with his eyebrows frowning at me.

"Hey! You asked, it's the truth. I miss my teddy" I giggled whilst referring to Alec as my personal teddy bear.

"And I miss my snuggle bug" he winked using the nickname he had given me as according to him, I looked adorable whilst sleeping on his torso.

"But I'm glad to hear you're doing well. Leon's not been too harsh on you has he?".

The mood suddenly changed. Concern and worry instantly appeared on Alec's face. I had seen an unpredictable and frightening side to Leon whilst with Alec. And I know he was worried about leaving me alone with Leon.

"He's been fine. I understand he has to be stern as he's the boss, but he's been nice".

Alec raised a brow as he popped a grape into his mouth.

"Leon and nice. Never thought I'd hear those two words together" Alec laughed obnoxiously. His laugh giving me shivers of excitement. There's something so heart stopping about men's deep laughs.

"There's something you're not telling me though. Did he upset you?".

What was I supposed to say? Oh, Leon spanked me in his office and I gave him a lap dance.

"Arabella" Alec growled out, unimpressed he wasn't getting answers straight away.

"Well, he's been erm, a little dominant with me" I mumbled out, my cheeks turning pink at the memory of our office antics.

"Dominant how?" he whispered quietly, the corners of his lips lifting up into a slight smirk.

"Well, um, he made me dance for him, we kinda made out in his office and he um slapped my butt a couple of times".

Alec let out a deep groan as he bit his lip.

"And does your cute butt still hurt?" he laughed out as he rolled over to rest his chin on his hand.

"Y-Yes. He was rough" I pouted as I watched Alec laugh unsympathetically.

"I bet he was" Alec scoffed as he tilted the phone so I could see him lying sideways.
