Alec
Pulling into the driveway of Leon's mansion of a home, I subtly glanced at Arabella only to see her staring out at Leon's home with her mouth dropped.
In the short time I had known her, I was completely in awe of her. She was genuine, and you could tell by her reactions. There was nothing fake about her. She was so fucking real, unlike all the other girls I'm usually around.
"Wow! This place is unreal. Do you live here?" Arabella asked as she looked over at me with pure happiness on her face.
"No doll. My place is a lot smaller, just the way I like it. Besides, what is the point of having a big house if you don't have anyone to share it with. It'll only make you realise how alone you are" I replied to her. And even though I turned her lighthearted conversation into a sad one, Arabella was still smiling at me.
She rested her hand on top of mine that rested on the clutch, causing me to freeze.
"You're not alone. You have me now" Arabella whispered quietly before staring at our hands.
My heart was racing so fast at the way her hand felt on top of mine. It felt so natural and now that her skin touched mine, I never wanted to be without her touch.
Not knowing what to say back to her, I gave her a soft smile before resting my hand on top of her thigh.
Turning my attention back to the drive, I slowly pulled up alongside the porch of Leon's house and sighed in content. This was the night we were going to reveal our feelings for Arabella. And as much as I felt confident she'd be flattered, I was anxious to the idea she may be overwhelmed and run away from us.
A sudden sneeze pulled me out of my thoughts and I looked over at Arabella who was sneezing repeatedly.
"You alright baby?".
Swiftly handing over the handkerchief I had pulled from out of my pocket, I watched Arabella intently as she tried to recompose herself.
"Y-Yes, I'm okay. Just a little sniffle. No biggie" she giggled as she neatened her hair with her free hand.
Staring at her in concern, I noticed her beautiful fair skin becoming paler in appearance and little beads of sweat forming at the top of her head.
Fuck!
"Alec? Are you okay?" she asked, her hand pressing on mine.
Ignoring her words, I pressed the back of my hand against her head only to frown even deeper.
My baby was burning up and she was fucking asking if I was okay through a full blown temperature.
Quickly switching my engine off, I opened up my door and jumped out before slamming it shut.
I could sense Arabella was probably confused, but I couldn't waste a single second.
Pulling open her door with haste, I towered over her small frame, her body shaking slightly. Probably a mixture of fear, confusion and a symptom of sickness.
Leaning over Arabella who was staring at me like a crazy person, I undid her seat belt and effortlessly scooped her up in one movement.
"Alec, what are you doing?" she asked with more concern in her voice.
"You're sick" I replied bluntly, but Arabella bonked me on my head almost instantaneously.
"Not very nice to call a girl sick" she laughed out before coughing away from me.
Frowning at the lack of seriousness in her voice, I quickly ran inside the open door ignoring Fred the butler as he greeted us.
"Hey! You just ignored the kind man. Phew, is it getting hot? Wait, maybe it's you. I mean you're like super hot. Hang on, there's like 4 of you? Woah, 4 Alec's, yes please" Arabella rambled.
