Riff started to pull up to Jamie's house "this is me" Jamie smiled at him, before she could get out of the car he grabbed her wrist and pulled her in. He kissed her and pulled out and smirked
Jamie's heart felt like she was doing back flips, she smiled at him "I'll see you tomorrow" she got out of the car and skipped back to the cabin.
When she got in she saw hopper sitting there with loads of paper work in-front of him. As soon as he heard the door shut he looked up and sighed of relief when he saw it was Jamie "hey" he stood up "I went to Hawkins lab today" he said in a lower tone
"What !" She took a step back, they had always promised each other to never go near that place again. The rule was especially aimed at Jamie "why would you go there"
"We had to check it" he stopped her from replying "but they didn't let us in" he looked like he was saying something heroic the way he was standing
"Of corse they didn't, are you crazy ! Hopper why in hell would they let you in there" she shook her head in disapproval "there al bat shit crazy in there, you can't do that again"
Hopper could see the hurt in Jamie's eyes, he hated the place as much as she did. He nodded.
The next day at school the whole atmosphere felt different to Jamie, she felt like the whole day was wrong she could feel something in her stomach.
Bang. Mia was facing her "alright jumpy" Mia grinned at her friend opposite her "so new gossip of the school is that you and Riff are a thing?" She smirked "my dear friend I have never been more proud" she put her heart to her chest "I may even shed a tear"
"Shut up" Jamie closed her locker "besides it was one date not a whole engagement" they started walking down the hall, Jamie saw Riff smiling coming her way
"May as well scatter now" Mia said looking at Riff. She quickly left the scene
"Hey" Riff smiled "you alright you look like you've seen a ghost or something" he laughed
"No I'm fine" she smiled looking up at him "just feel off" she looked around "feel like everyone's staring" she could tell they were as she was with Riff
"Oh well let em stare" he pulled Jamie from the hallway "hey so my friend is having a little party this weekend and was wondering if you wanna come ?"
"Another party" Jamie didn't have too much of a social battery so going too another one didn't sound fun "I don't know"
"Cmon you'll love it, it's not for long either. Bring some of your friends" he smiled at the look on her face, he grabbed her hands "you'll be fine I swear, if you wanna go home I'll drive you home" he put out his pinky "pinky promise"
She connected her pinky to his "fine".
At lunch Jamie quickly found Mia and she rushed over to her
