When Jamie got home she saw Hopper passed out on the couch with beer cans surrounding him. She sighed and went back to her room.
For the whole of the next morning she couldn't help but find herself of thinking about the monster, any little creek in the floorboards and she would jump.
About midday she had people banging on her door, she opened it too see Mia and Amy both grinning at her "party time" Mia smiled
The party was the thing least on her mind at this point in time "oh I don't think I'm going to go tonight"
Amy's face dropped "excuse you yes you are" she barged her way in "where's your dad" she looked around
"Oh Hopper ? he left early in the morning he always does"
Amy turned to her "you don't call him dad ?"
Shit Jamie thought to herself "oh we always call each other our full names to get on each other's nerves" she played it off "but no seriously I was planning on sitting and listening to music all day"
Mia rolled her eyes "yeah like we're let you sit here and mope all night" she went into Jamie's room "come on I'll pick you out a dress"
The worst part is she couldn't even tell them why she didn't want to go.
Jamie sat at the back of Amy's car as they both sat and chatted about the people that will be there "no and Tommy and Carol are going" Amy said
"I hate Carol" Mia added as Amy giggled
"Don't we all" Amy agreed "someone's awfully quiet back there, you alright Jamie ?"
They finally got Jamie's attention "oh yeah".

They arrived at a big house and all got out. Jamie looked at the house with her mouth wide open "these people are too rich"
"Pfft tell me about it" Amy linked her arm as they went through the house.
Jamie and the girls went outside were most of the people were
"JAMIE" Riff called running over to her "you came I was getting scared you weren't going to show" be hugged her tightly
Jamie grinned "yeah we'll these two forced me so you can thank them" she pointed to Mia and Amy
"Mia right" Riff pointed "nice to see you again"
Mia shook his hand "yeah nice to meet you, Jamie here has told me lots about you" Mia said making Riff blush
"And I'm Amy" Amy waved "I met Jamie a couple days ago so I've heard nothing about you" she smiled innocently "oo is that beer" Amy went off with Mia following after her
"Do you wanna get a drink ?" Riff said yelling over the music attempting to here Jamie
