3rd pov

Siluca barely remembers the night at the bar that gave her the precious bundle she drops off at the company daycare, since she was drunk and all, but she thinks she might've given consent before they got drunk? Maybe? She's not entirely certain, but she knows she can't say she regrets it, even though she can't quite recall the face of the man she was with, let alone his name. She has a pretty good idea of what he looks like, considering she does not have green hair, but the man has not tried to help her, so she sees no reason to give him a chance to be in their lives.

(She completely missed the note on the table of the hotel they spent the night at, telling her the name, number and hope of the man she slept with, who was only a tiny bit surprised to be called and informed the note was found left on a table, meaning the lovely lady had probably not seen it and thus, he'll have to search for her. Of course, with his job, he isn't given much time to try.)

She drops Leo off with the daycare ladies, watching in amusement as he goes right for the blocks, before hurrying away, she's already late to a meeting with Lord Lassic, her lady Marrine and Alexis both waiting patiently for her. They all know her situation, though Lassic knows more than the others, since he in fact is best friends with someone who looks a lot like the baby he's caught a few glimpses of and happens to know the man has spent the last year trying to find a girl he slept with, since she missed his note. It happens to be the reason he's here, the man is so busy he didn't have time for the meeting, as much as he would've loved to be there, since he is the reason Alexis and Marrine are together.

"Sorry I'm late, Leo didn't want to eat this morning."

"You're fine. Siluca, this is Lassic. He's a stand-in for the actual business man, because he got swamped with paperwork and several other people couldn't wait for his schedule to clear, so they told him they'd meet today or not at all. They're trying to convince him to sell to them, but I don't think he'll agree to work with any of them. What do you think, Lassic?"

"Hmm... I think he might work with Villar, since the man genuinely did not have any other days available, he and Theo were doing a video meeting and Villar shared his schedule to check what days were free and ouch, this was the only one available within this month, not speaking of the next three."

"Yeah, I can see him working with Villar. He has a good business with the restaurants, selling wine to him would certainly do some good. Plus, his bars are few and far between, so not many people go to them, even if they sell great wine. A shame, really."

"Yeah, now, he might be joining us later, but he also might not. Some of the other businessmen can get really rude and talkative when they're trying to persuade someone to give them something they want, but he should be here within the next 20 minutes if he escapes. He might look wind rushed, but he'll be perfectly fine."

"Oh, the poor man. He's not working himself too hard, is he? Is he still looking for that girl in his free time as well?"

"Yeah, he is. He doesn't listen when Moreno and I try to tell him to go to bed early, honestly, he's starting to worry me. It's work that's starting to drown him since it was so far into a falsified debt that he tries his hardest to stay out, even when we tell him it's not a possibility. Now, onto business."

Siluca joins in, easily checking the numbers, charts and anything else Alexis and Marrine can't remember off the top of their heads, especially with them having changed overnight, so she only just notices the sound of the door opening. She doesn't look yet, still trying to find the chart she was asked for.

"I'm here... Sorry, they really just wouldn't shut up. I eventually just hung up on them." He sounds out of breath, young and exhausted as well. Siluca feels a nagging in her head, saying she should recognize that voice, she'd heard it somewhere before, but honestly nothing comes to mind. The sound of someone settling into the chair next to Lassic has her glancing up, before he gains her full attention, the chart found. He has green hair, tan skin and brown eyes, but there's something so familiar about him... Leo. He looks exactly like Leo. Or well, the other way is more true. This is the man she slept with and that left her alone over a year ago.
