3rd pov (soul eater AU)
Theo had entered the DWMA far later than any other student, to his amusement, though there are quite a few people here. His family had refused to send him, so he'd been forced to work part time jobs until he got enough money built up to buy the plane ticket himself, as well as hopefully rent an apartment since he's not certain whether the school pays for that or not. He had come into his weapon heritage from his mother's side, though they're not sure where since his mother died giving birth to him, though his father was quick to get another woman, marrying again just 2 years later.
He's about 19, rather than the 12 or so most people are when they're entered, but he had been forced to work a lot of jobs, with his step-mom taking most of his paychecks for her shopping trips and shit, he'd also had to save only a small portion of each, and since his father never listened to him, it had taken him several years longer than he'd have liked to get to the school, but he had finally gotten there and that's all that matters. He has no idea where to go though, so with a sigh, he enters the building, his boots barely making any noise, his green pants tucked into the boots and his green hoodie comfortable keeping him warm, with the blast of cold air that hits him as soon as he enters the building.
He stretches, before heading for what looks like the main desk, wondering if she can help him figure out where to go, especially since he could feel the desire to transform grow stronger as soon as he stepped inside. He waits for the lady to get done on the phone, giving her a small grin and then peers around, looking at the school itself. The floor is solid, tile, and the walls are tall, lockers and several hallways nearby, a few doors that lead into classrooms. It almost looks like any other school, except there are obvious scuffs, scratches, cuts and burns, as well as a few dents in the wall, floor and other items lying around from the students losing control and misfiring their powers as well as obviously learning to wield their partners. He wonders who his partner will be, but figures they'll be matched with him, since he's so old and the Mesiter is the one in most danger.
"Hello, how can I help you?"
"Ah, I'm Theo Cornaro. I'm pretty sure I sent my application in but it might not have made it just quite yet." He grins sheepishly as the woman starts typing in her computer, checking for the name, blinking in surprise at the students' age.
"And why were you not sent here sooner?"
"Ah...my father refused to send me and wouldn't pay for anything. I got jobs, but my step-mom took most of the money for her shopping, so I had to save for a while. I only just got in yesterday, had to get used to the time difference."
"Alright, can you transform?"
"Sort of? I know I have the ability to, but I really don't want to hit the ground, just bumping the wall feels weird and too hard hurts, which I'm pretty sure means I haven't quite got control of the form yet."
"Let's see... I'm going to send you to Lrd Death, hopefully he has an idea. You're a unique case in many ways, which isn't a bad thing, just a surprise for someone mostly home taught."
She proceeds to give him directions, which he follows to the best of his ability, but he's never been here and he's pretty sure he got lost, resting his head on a nearby wall in defeat, before trying to find a sign to at least give him an idea where he is. The nearest door says infirmary, or maybe music room? He's pretty sure neither of those were in the directions given to him. He gives a groan, before heading towards the door, praying someone's there, a teacher that might be able to give him directions. He knocks on the door - it's the infirmary - and enters at the call.
"Ah, my apologies. I'm new and the receptionist gave me directions, but I got lost. How do I get to Lord Death's room from here?"
"Oh? I can see why she sent you that way. I have to take these two over there anyways so they can report to him since Lassic can't remember the number to call Lord Death and Moreno here is always transformed during their missions unless they're traveling, since the Kishhins like to do sneak attacks. Come on, you're both fixed up."

Grancrest oneshots
FantasyThis is for the Grancrest Senki or Record of Grancrest Wars, since it gets so little attention. It'll be one shots as everything else, and even though there's a manga, I have only watched the anime, so it's based off that. Deal.
