3rd pov (vampire knight AU)
Theo had never really enjoyed being a noble vampire, for all the perks it gives him. He has to hide his status, since there are so few purebloods, his parents wanting him to survive and his father locking most of his powers away behind a seal before he died. He's been going to Cross academy for ages, watching other vampires leave after graduating, but he stays, with no family to go home to and nothing but an empty house full of dust, he sees no reason. He doesn't impose on Kaien, the academy principal and founder, a well known retired vampire hunter, but he does remain in a nearby empty house, in the woods outside the academy, close enough to get there quickly, but far enough to not be spotted by anyone. He enjoys the lake in front of the house, as well as the things it has inside, furnishing it and learning to carve wood, as well as a few other things throughout his life as he spends summer after summer there, only going out at night.
He doesn't bow down to Kaname when the next school year starts, same as the last few, and so that makes him a bit of an outcast from the rest of the night class, even if he is a vampire as well. He sees no need to submit, even if the guy might be the next king, he isn't right now and that's all that matters, especially to someone like Theo, who grew up in a poor town, with most winters thinning out the community killing those too old or young if they were ill prepared. He doesn't eat as much as the other vampires, enjoying the blood pills almost too much, though he was never much for having to drink human blood anyways, so that's not much of a surprise to him.
Of course, the thing is, he knows about Kaname's messed up game, involving the level D - who smells eerily like him, a sealed vampire - Zero and the other one his definitely sealed by him sister, Yuki. Watchin Zero struggle hurts Theo, especially since he knows the spell to unseal the boy, but something tells him that's not a great idea, not at the moment anyways. The other girl that works with them - a blonde with purple eyes - is also a hunter, probably sent to help keep Zero in line since he's been struggling more lately. Theo decides he's going to talk to Kaien. Especially since the other hunter - Toga - lets him leave, not bothering to try and stop him, hinting that the man might know exactly what he's doing at the moment.
Finding Kaien isn't hard, the man in his office, but to his surprise, Siluca and Zero are both there as well, meaning Yuki has been left to patrol herself, something he won't let happen for very long.
"Ah, hello, Theo. Is there something I can help you with?"
"Actually, I think I can help you." Kaien looks confused which would actually work, except Theo has lived for well over a 1000 years, he saw the flash of surprise and the bit of hope the man had felt before shutting it away.
"Oh? What do you think I need help with?"
"Well, for one Kaname is doing a horrible job helping his sister at the moment, so perhaps locking her a bit more tightly, since she's going to be an absolute bitch once she's changed for real. Another, I can help Zero here by unlocking the seal placed on him, as incomplete as it is. Lastly, I can help the girl here with patrols and shit, cause I've been attending this school since it was formed, as well as a great deal of other schools, so I already know the classes."
"How old are you?"
"20,000 or so, soon. Honestly stopped counting after about 6000 or so though. Long lives are boring as shit sometimes, and there was a solid chunk of years where I was asleep for a couple centuries, so I honestly don't know."
"You say you can help with the seal? How? Only a pureblood can do that. I would know, the seal was placed on him by a pureblood, the one who turned him. She wanted to make sure he never got any stronger as a vampire, forever stuck as level D almost E, unable to get higher up. Having it gone would be great."

Grancrest oneshots
FantasiThis is for the Grancrest Senki or Record of Grancrest Wars, since it gets so little attention. It'll be one shots as everything else, and even though there's a manga, I have only watched the anime, so it's based off that. Deal.
