3rd pov
Siluca had always loved being able to travel for her job, a witch medic that went wherever she was needed, occasionally joining the Sistina white witch group that's all females on their missions. She's heard lots of good things about the man they work for, but they won't ever tell her his name, calling him cap'n, captain, Lord or anything of the sort. Not even Moreno or Lassic will spill anything to her, despite being some of the few soldiers she likes. Not that she has anything against them, she just doesn't like what soldiers represent. She also really dislikes one group because they gave her a bad first impression, and she's always believed the first impression is everything.
It had been a mission in Dartania, the group of Soldiers working under a Sergeant that goes by Cornaro, at least from what his name tag reads. She had been walking through camp, prepared to rest after using her magic most of the day, only for a man - the name tag read something like Rossini, but she had vaguely recognized him as one of the older brothers - to step into her path, his camo uniform wrinkled, his hair saying he needs a bath and his breath heavy with the stink of alcohol. She had politely tried to go around him, but he'd been incessant.
"What's a pretty lady like ya doin all 'y ya lonesome, hmm?" The slur to his voice is barely there, so he can't be too drunk, but she still disapproves, they have a mission tomorrow and he needs to be able to do his job, as well as get up on time.
"I'm not by my lonesome, I'm heading to meet my friends, and then I'll be resting, as you should be."
"I have the Cap'ns permission to drink, I can still do the mission tomorrow, don't worry. Forget about your friends, why don't ya come hang with me for the night?" His eyes trail over her body and she feels a surge of annoyance, preparing to slap him for his disrespect. A hand pulls him by the back of his collar, the Rossini sputtering. The man is wearing the same camo, but his rank is higher and his tag reads Cornaro, the glimpse of a gun resting at his weight, the white with gold trimming and interesting choice. However, she could totally handle this herself.
"Rossini, you really shouldn't disobey like this. You know you're not supposed to drink before a mission and you certainly aren't supposed to make the poor woman that are stuck working with you uncomfortable or angry."
"But Cap'n, I have permission."
"I'm-"
"I had it handled, Cornaro." She refused to be ignored like this, especially since she's still tired.
"I'm aware ma'am but it's still a superiors job to watch out for subordinates, even those that -"
"If that's one of your best subordinates, then I think you'd be better off quitting. After all, he's not exactly a shining star of success or a grade A student in any way."
The man sighs, shoulders slumping as he seems to resign himself to something. He turns to face her directly, offering her a salute as something flashes through his eyes. "Sorry ma'am, I'll be sure to keep him on a better leash, he was supposed to be sleeping though. We only recently found out he wasn't in the tent after returning from patrol." She sighs, giving him a firm nod and then walking away without a second thought, her impression and thus opinion on Cornaro not high.
(If she had stuck around or let him finish his sentence, she might've heard her berating Rossini for drinking before a mission, sneaking out at night and forcing him to intervene. She would've heard him telling Rossini to return to his actual commanding officer, another Rossini, a completely different squad from his own, and send the man on his way with a written reprimand, since he is a higher rank. Cornaro sighs after he's left alone, he'd been trying to talk to Siluca for ages, but this is not the way he wanted it to go.)

Viễn tưởngThis is for the Grancrest Senki or Record of Grancrest Wars, since it gets so little attention. It'll be one shots as everything else, and even though there's a manga, I have only watched the anime, so it's based off that. Deal.
