3rd pov (Burrower AU) A/N I don't know shit about burrowers, so I am messing with shit. They're going to be about as tall as a finger, instead of whatever they are otherwise.
Theo hates having to live on his own, especially after his dad died and he had to actually get really careful about borrowing things from the house, but he has to survive. Unfortunately, there are no people his dad was great friends with, that he could hope to hitch a ride with, so he was stuck in the house. It's a nice place, don't get him wrong, but it's two floors, and the food that was left is few and far between. There's only so far he can travel from the house as well, finding small tidbits to eat and drink out there, before returning to his bedroom - a small hole in the wall that used to be his dad's room. He peels the wallpaper back and hurries in, glad the tiny bag full of food is still with him, dumping the berries, as well as anything else he could find on the floor.
He's careful when cutting them, everything ready to be packed away in just a few movements, since he knows the house has the potential of being destroyed and replaced, his Dad had told him so before dying, so he's prepared, but he's really hoping someone will buy the place and move in. He's not certain how many years, months, weeks, days pass by, with no way of keeping track of the year, he can only hope the place stays, even as he has to move his bed, the wall no longer safe after it collapsed and broke a leg as well as an arm.
He had put the small rags, cloth and little bit of cotton stuffed into an old bit of sock - he'd cut the sock around the cotton with a needle, which he uses against anything that requires something sharp - as a pillow, all of it resting in the middle of the mattress that used to be his dad's, though it's been several years simply by the way the bed is moldy and lumpy. He goes to sleep hoping someone moves in soon and wakes up the next morning to NOISE. Lots and lots of noise, almost too much. He hurries to hide, diving to the wall, peeling aside the wallpaper and hurrying into his back up room, the bedding and everything dragged with him out of an instinct screaming he hides.
He shoves everything in and hurries to seal the damn paper back in place, falling onto his ass and just taking a minute to breathe, before trying to figure out what's going on. He peers out and at spotting nothing, though it is still extremely loud, he hurries out, heading for the nearest window. He uses some thread - which he's long since tied together to make a sturdy rope - to climb to the window, his needle a hand hold when he can't find one, before finally peering out. He blinks in surprise to find several trucks, all rather large, as well as a few smaller cars. Oh? Someone's finally moving in after all this time?
Someone's finally moving in after all this time?!? He panics a bit, hurrying back down to the floor, sliding the last bit and unhooking the rope, securing it back in its spot, before heading for his hole, easily jumping up the bedposts, and scrambling across the bed. He makes it behind just as the door opens, so he's hidden, but he will certainly not be able to get behind the wall paper until this person leaves, especially as he spots a tattoo on the side of his neck - a chamberlain, how odd, are the new owners rich? Important? - tucking himself down and preparing for a long wait.
"Well, this place is certainly a mess. Not quite as bad as I was expecting but it could certainly be much better as well. So much dust and everything... hmm. Miss Siluca will sleep here, this is the master bedroom, so she'll be pleased, but first, we'll need to replace everything."
Theo can feel his heart sinking. Replacing everything means people in and out of the room, potentially means they'll replace the wallpaper as well, so he'll be stuck in his little space until everything has settled, it seems. He hurries in as soon as the man leaves, noting the bits of silver hair that will let him identify the man a bit easier, as well as the way he walks, before fixing the wallpaper. He's ok, he'll be fine, nothing to worry about, he's got this. At least, that's what he thinks, but replacing everything apparently takes far longer than he thought, with the days quickly moving past, until the little store of food he had runs out, meaning he'll have to go out, food is a necessity.

Grancrest oneshots
FantasíaThis is for the Grancrest Senki or Record of Grancrest Wars, since it gets so little attention. It'll be one shots as everything else, and even though there's a manga, I have only watched the anime, so it's based off that. Deal.
