3rd pov

The war had affected every person, from the children born into it, to the elderly dragged into it, every person has been affected. There's nothing wrong with that, but due to it, they all panic or flashback or even just freeze at the sight, sound, smell, touch of certain things, and most things that taste like iron - blood - are also avoided, since that can cause a lot of things. They're all thankful for Emperor Theo, the man who has helped with all kinds of things from the war, trying his hardest to solve the problems that are most important and then going to the next.

He barely gets any rest, but he still offers a smile and wave, as well as indulges anyone who wants to talk to him, regardless of the bags under his eyes, as well as the fact that he barely eats, managing the next thing as best he can. With a sigh, the Emperor rests his aching head against his desk, trying to fight off the headache from lack of sleep, the cold helping just the slightest bit, but not enough for him to actually feel the best. His stomach growls, reminding him he hasn't eaten yet either, but there are so many papers left, as well as the number of people having flashbacks has barely decreased.

He needs to figure out another way to help them, and start working on these other problems, but there's only so much he can do, with each day limited to a certain number of hours and he does require rest, because his patience and kindness will eventually reach an end if he doesn't sleep soon, after all this is the 3rd or maybe 4th night of no sleep? He can't quite recall how many nights it's been since he last got sleep, since the only thing he's been focusing on has been the great deal of work he has, with a few breaks for food or drink, as well as the occasional nap.

Irvin has noticed the Emperor staying later and later each night, not going to bed at all most nights, and he's decided he will have to devise a system that gets the Emperor to bed if not outright asleep most nights, because there's things he has to do and he needs to be awake and aware for those. With a simple sigh, the chamberlain moves into the office, holding in a wince at finding the Emperor slumped over on his desk, a grimace on his face, clearly not sleeping but not working just now either.

"Emperor Theo? Would you not get more sleep in your bed then here?"

The response is slow, Theo barely reacting to his name, jolting up and then wincing at the fast move he just made.

"Ah, Irvin. How long have you been there?"

"Long enough. Why don't we get you some food and then some sleep, hmm? Pretty sure Siluca is in today and is missing you in bed, after all, I believe she requires her heater and fiance."

"The food can wait, I just want to sleep. Make it a large breakfast and we'll be good. You might have to help me." Theo admits, rising slowly and using the desk to hold him up, even as Irvin gets closer, offering his shoulder to the Emperor, trying his hardest to make sure the man stays upright, heading down the far too familiar halls, concern growing as the man continues to put more and more weight on him, almost stumbling with how little his focus is, but they reach his chambers. A knock is the way he goes, deciding Siluca might be in a state of undress or anything of the like.

"Yes? Who is it?"

"It is Irvin, m'lady. I have brought Emperor Theo, as requested."

"Well come on in."

He takes that as the permission it is, pushing the door open, keeping a hand on Theo's arm, refusing to let him fall or collapse just because he loses his grip. With a grunt, he gets them through the doorway, closing the door behind them, before turning, not at all surprised that the bed has a tray of food on it, some meats and other varieties on it, clearly she had been informed that he was not eating so she had taken into her own hands, refusing to let it just lie as Irvin was. Theo blinks, looking up from where his focus had been on the ground, before letting out a small groan at seeing Siluca.
