The dynamics of Alpha, Beta and Omega had existed long before the crest, and thus they have no reason to panic over them. They know everything they need to, or at least they think they do. However, Alpha females and Omega males are still part of the rarity, often looked down on and discriminated against due to being a 1 in every 6,000 babies. Of course, the dynamic doesn't present until the person is ready, between the ages of about 10 and 25, though there have been cases for later on in life as well.

Theo had never presented, not as anything, so he got ridiculed and treated horribly by the villagers in town, especially after his dad was killed and he was forced to care for everything they owned, trying to get enough to satisfy the Rossini's, who punished him by making him give them two times the usual, which they only just barely managed and that was with his dad doing most of the work and helping him. He barely manages to survive those 4 years of punishment, before they lift it and he can go back to the normal amount, meaning he has the food to start feeding himself... except the villagers start taking from him as well, claiming it was only fair since they were taxed for it.

He had never hated anyone innocent, but that was around the time he decided the villagers were never be family, nothing more than acquaintances, even his childhood friend Rebeeca was cut off,if they were going to steal from him and take from him, he isn't going to stay. The moment he hits 22, he packs his stuff, and heads for a small ship he'd built in his spare time, leaving without a word, refusing to do anything with them. The fact that most of the villagers were Betas with the ones in charge being Alphas, means he is a bit against them, but not enough to make him stay away. He camps and everything for a few months, learning what he can, ignoring the pain as he forges a crest from the monster core, determined to recapture his homeland and make it better, regardless of how long it will take or what dynamic he might be. His horse joins him pretty late on, following him everywhere, nipping at his clothes, his hair, as well as his food pouch, until he gives in.

Meeting Siluca is a great thing, even if she really isn't the nicest person when they meet, much less the days after. However, seeing her determination and fiery passion, as well as how gentle and cute she can be, he finds himself in love with her before he knows it. He can't say it's a bad thing or even that he dislikes it, in fact, he's pretty sure he falls a bit more in love with her every day, the only issue is he can't quite tell if she receives his signs, much less is she's sending, since he hasn't presented any hormones and signals she might be sending that way are lost on him, though he knows she's a rarity, being an Alpha female. Not like it bothers him.

He grows closer with her, especially after they both start working for Villar, but it's not until they're in that tree and they've confessed, that he finds himself really worrying what his dynamic might be. After all, Alpha Alpha couples are not exactly great things and Betas can lean either way, but Omegas can only go with Alpha's. He's not certain whether their relationship will last when he presents, but he can only hope it does. It takes several long months for them to win the war and finally stop all the battling, but as soon as he's crowned Emperor, he starts working to fix everything to the best of his ability. He takes great pride in everything he's managing to do, even if it takes everything he has, since he still has to learn things even as he goes.

He still hasn't presented, but he can't focus on that now, not with a ball going on so he can have a chance to talk to the people, get information and feedback from them as best he can. He listens to their answers and talks solutions with them as they bring up problems, but he does his best. He also keeps a close eye on Siluca, because while she may be a female Alpha, there are still Omegas that would more than love to sweep her off her feet, since she is known as the one who worked with him in order to stop the war and bring peace.
