I wake up the next morning in bed, curled up in Tom's chest. I jump up and scream, waking up Tom.
"Please please please tell me we didn't do anything last night!" I scream at him.
"Woah woah. Marie, calm down." He pauses, blinking away the sleep. "I didn't do anything to you last night besides steal a few kisses."
"Then why did I wake up next to you?" I ask, accusingly.
He replies nervously," I was already in bed and you came in after me. You got in bed next to me and scooted over toward me. I promise I didn't take advantage of you."
I look at him, trying to figure out if he is telling the truth and finally decide to trust him. I calm down and hug him in silent apology.
He smooths my hair while comforting me. "It's okay. You're safe."
We walk outside onto the porch after dressing. I get into his car, and he drives us to school. We walk in and he drops me off for school while he goes back to the cabin, since it's the weekend. I jog over to the Principal's office, before stopping in front of his door. Before I can knock, he opens it.
"Marie! How are you feeling?" He asks while ushering me in.
I sit in one of the plushy chairs. "I'm feeling a lot better. I got to see all my friends before coming here."
"Alright" He sits down across from me. "So these next few days we are going to catch you up on what you missed, is that okay?"
"Yep! Are we going to do it in here?" I look at him, suddenly apprehensive.
"If you would like to, we could." He pauses "We did have a classroom set up for you."
"I'll take the classroom!" I quickly respond.
"Alrighty then."
He leads me to the classroom, where I see a teacher I don't know. After being at school for 7 hours constantly learning aside from lunch, I go home and immediately go to sleep.
The next day is more school, meeting with Tom in the morning and afternoon, and sleeping.
On Monday, I get up at six, as I usually do. Alrighty, what to wear today. I slowly slide out of bed, slightly discombobulated. I walk over to my closet and look at my outfits. Hmm... What about just a casual red shirt with a fleece sweater over it with some shorts. Yeah, that'll work. I throw on my outfit and walk downstairs carefully, almost falling as I skip the last two. As I fall I find myself in my mom's arms as she catches me.
"Thanks mom, I'm still a bit woozy sometimes."
"No problem, honey." She pauses before continuing "Let me drive you to school today. If you're feeling woozy I don't want you driving."
"Don't worry mom, I already got a ride with Tom." We eat breakfast together and a few minutes after finishing, I hear a car horn honk outside. "Alright, bye mom!"
"Be safe hun!"
I run out and get into the car. After giving Tom a kiss, we head off. Once at school, the day goes normally until lunch, when I see Julie sitting at our normal table.
"Hey." I say, apprehensively, as I walk up. "We haven't spoken all day. Are you okay?" I ask.
"What do you think, MARIE?" She says, accusingly. "I've been trying to avoid you. Isn't that obvious?"
I look at her in shock, before composing myself. "Well, does this mean we aren't friends anymore? You seemed okay with staying friends when we were in the cabin."
She looks at me a second, as if realizing what she just said. "I-" She pauses "I'm sorry, I'm just not used to being broken up with. I am usually the heart breaker. Will you forgive me?"
"Of course I will." I say as I bring her into a hug.
The rest of the day goes along smoothy. I go home after school with Tom, and once he drops me off, I run upstairs after saying hello to my mom and I go to sleep quickly.
The next day, I go downstairs to eat after choosing an outfit.
"Morning, mom." I say, sitting down.
"Good morning!" She pauses, putting eggs on two plates. "I'm going to drive you and Julie to school today."
"Alright." I say, scooping up my eggs. I eat them with gusto, only pausing periodically to moan in ecstasy. After I finish, we wash the dishes and then drive over to Julie's house, where I ring her doorbell and she gets in the front seat while I get in the back. As we are driving, a truck suddenly comes out of nowhere and slams into the back corner of the car, sending us careening into a large oak tree before coming to a sudden stop and everything going black.
