"Are you ready?"

I looked up at Zach, taking in his messy, bed hair, Harem sweatpants, sweatshirt and beautiful green eyes that appeared light at the moment. "Yeah," I nodded, "let's go." He also nodded, getting inside the car. I waved at my sister and parents that were standing by the door before getting inside the car also. In a matter of seconds we were on the road, heading for the Belt Parkway. "Do you know how long the ride will be?"

He shrugged, giving me a brief glance, "Maybe about three to four hours. So we'll probably be there by ten or so." I nodded, looking out the window, watching as pair surroundings passed by.

Yesterday, after telling Emma, Kira and Dorothy, the dragged me to get my nails and toes done. Something unnecessary when I could just do it at home. Then we went shopping, helping me find the perfect outfit for the wedding and meeting Zach's family.

Honestly, I'm afraid to meet them. What if they judge me? Would they think I was good enough for Zach? Wait, why am I caring about this? It's not like we're actually together. I let out a soft inaudible sigh, but I wish we were.

"You hungry?" Zach had stopped the car, on the side of the road. Cars were still zipping by us on the highway. I smiled, that's so him. I nodded to his question. He smiled, pulling back onto the road, going into an exit.

We ended up stopping at McDonalds ordering something quick and then getting back onto the road. I ended up falling asleep and felt Zach carrying me. "Zach," I breathed out, my head leaning on his head. "You can put me down, it's okay, I can walk. I want to meet your family."

He shook his head, his lips touching my forehead, causing me to close my eyes in pleasure and content. When I opened my eyes again, he was smiling at me. "No, go back to sleep. I'll tell them you'll meet them tomorrow, okay?"

"But -"

"No but's," he finalized. I sighed, leaning my head on his shoulder again, closing my eyes. I heard him open a door and his arms were replaced by a soft mattress. I had no energy to stop him from removing my sneakers but was thankful when he stopped there. He walked out after whispering a goodnight.

The last thing I heard before falling asleep was a woman whispering, "Was that her? She gorgeous."

And I faintly heard Zach answer something along the lines of, "I know," but maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

The next morning, I woke up to the annoying chirping birds and the sun beaming into the curtain. After I opened my eyes, for a moment, I was confused to as to why my curatins were open when the last time I checked, it was closed. Then I realize it was a a beige color, not a light blue color. Then I realized the whole room was beige.

Finally realizing I was not at my house and what happened last night, I did a face-palm. What a great first impression I gave them. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't like me.

I sighed, running my hand trough my hair. I looked down at my outfit from last night - jeans and a sweatshirt. The moment I stood up was when Zach opened the door. "You're awake." I nodded, gulping as I watched the water drip down from his wet hair, seeping into his shirt. He was clothed, sporting low-risin, dark-washed jeans and a light blue T-shirt.

He smiled, "That's good." He paused, staring at me for a moment, the smile still light on his lips. I raised an eyebrow at him, curious as to why he was staring at me like that. He cleared his throat, shaking his head, "Well, the bathroom's available for you to get showered and ready. The wedding's ceremony is at four, so you have about six hours." I nodded. "About everyone's in the kitchen if you'd like to meet them.."
