this fic was originally begun in 2017.
this is a new and updated version of the original fic. the original was my first major fic and i loved it (and still do) but it could've been so much more. i had originally planned to just start a new version and leave the original up. it breaks my heart to say that i lost over half of my original story and was no longer be able to leave up the original. instead i'm just going to publish this new version in its place. the basic premise is still the same but the writing and overall plot is just so much better than it once was.
to those who read the original: i hope you love this as much or even more
