MADISON
today, i decided to dress fancier than usual. fancier meaning i wore jeans and a pretty top that shows off my boobs. why not? i felt like showing off today and so i did. i had a morning shift in work, from six until twelve, so when i was finished i got out of my work clothes into my outfit of the day.at the library, i used the computer and i wrote. not my novel, i wrote about how weird yesterday was. i just ranted to the computer because i literally have nobody else to rant to. i mean, it wasn't even that weird, it's just that lip kissed me. i have no real interest in him. i kissed him back, is that me giving him false hope?
BILLIE
i bit back a smile when i saw madison sitting in the same chair she sat at yesterday. i had only met her once and yet when i got home, i couldn't stop thinking about her beauty and confidence, i don't know how she does it. i'm intrigued, honestly. i stood at a shelf, pretending to be looking at books as i thought of a way to go say hi to her. something about her just has me wanting to get to know her.i took a deep breath and decided to act like i didn't expect to see her here. i walked over and gasped, cringing internally when madison looked up at me, raising her eyebrows with a little smirk. "fancy seeing you here." i said as casually as i could, turning bright red when she laughed at me.
"you're cute. sit down..." she trailed off with a questioning tone. she forgot my name. i was thinking about her all night and she forgot my name. i'm so lame. she checked me out and if she hadn't just forgotten my name, i'd be blushing. but no, i'm bright red 'cause i'm fucking embarrassed.
"billie." i sent her a fake smile as i sat down.
"my bad, i was trynna remember your name last night. i was thinking about how good you looked in that skirt..." she told me and i smiled, covering my face. i'm just... mortified. relieved that she thought of me, but still mortified.
after a minute i looked up to see her staring at me and i covered my face once again. "stop that." i giggled nervously and she smiled.
"you really are cute, billie."
"okay, shut up." i chuckled, seeing that she was trying to make me a nervous wreck. it was working, obviously. i sat up straight and observed her outfit, my eyes maybe lingering on her boobs for a beat longer than the rest of her. "i'm shy. you're pretty. you're making me nervous."
"i make you nervous. interesting." she mumbled, pulling out her phone, unlocking it and handing it to me. "how about i make you nervous somewhere else instead of the library, yeah? somewhere we can actually talk." she suggested and i nodded quickly.
MADISON
i glanced at my computer, back at billie and back at the computer. "you know what..." i trailed off before logging out. "you free? i'm free for like an hour or two." i suggested and billie widened her eyes before shrugging."yeah, sure, i don't got work today." she said and i smiled. i picked up my bag and slung it over my shoulder before beginning to walk slowly. billie quickly followed behind.
"so. what do you do for a living, billie?" i asked, accentuating her name. she caught up to me and sighed, looking around as we walked out of the library.
"well, i'm an art student at SAIC. i've always loved every type of art. paintings, sculptures, music, even the study of languages. it's just all so beautiful to me. so i studied it, of course. right now, though, i'm working at wholefoods." she told me and i nodded, admiring her pretty voice. "how about you?"
"i'm a college drop-out. surprise, surprise, huh? somebody like me dropping out. i decided i don't wanna be an english teacher anymore, i just wanna write my own shit, you know? so that's what i do. i'm a barista." i added in, using the proper term because it sounded better than just 'i work at a coffee shop'.
"cute. that actually sounds nice." billie said and i scoffed a little, her being a little taken aback by that.
"it's whatever. i wouldn't describe it as nice, anyway."
i noticed i had subconsciously headed towards my apartment and billie had just followed me. instead of heading in, i walked right past, deciding to go towards a local diner instead. "you hungry?" i asked and looked at billie. we made eye contact and i subconsciously gulped. her eyes are so beautiful.
"i'm actually starving." she nodded and i gestured towards the diner.
"then let's eat."

soon after getting our menus, i discovered that billie's a vegan. so she ordered two portions of fries and a large coke. i should've known when she said she works at wholefoods. i ordered a burger and fries.
"i actually live right by here." i told billie and she raised her eyebrows.
"that why we're here, madison?" she asked and i shook my head.
"actually, no. i don't know how we ended up here." i said and she seemed to hold back a response. i looked down at my food as i picked at it and furrowed my eyebrows. "not very chatty, are you?"
billie blushed and shook her head. "sorry, i'm boring you." she sighed. "i'm really bad at... i don't know, talking? it'll get better once you get to know me."
"get to know you? shit, i just thought we were here so i could take you out to dinner before we fuck, no?" i joked and billie's eyes widened and she blushed profusely. poor girl isn't used to people with raw mouths. "i'm kidding. i'm actually busy after this, so i guess you'll just have to give me your number. you know, so i can get to know you better."
"is it hot in here?" billie chuckled nervously, tugging on her shirt slightly. my eyes tend to wander, and they landed directly on her boobs. i'm a terrible person, i know. i snapped out of it when billie handed me her phone and i cleared my throat as i took it.
billie ate her fries as i saved my contact, keeping my name to a simple 'madi ;)' before handing her phone back. i took a second to study her gorgeous hair as she looked at her phone. she's really, really beautiful.
"is that your natural hair color?" i blurted. billie made eye contact with me before smiling a little bit and shaking her head.
"i am a blonde, just... more so dirty blonde. i've had many hair colors. my last was neon green roots with black ends." she told me.
"bold." i noted, looking her up and down. "not something i'd expect from you."
billie raised her eyebrows. "i can be bold." she defended herself.
"doubt it."
"i can! you just haven't seen that side of me yet."
i chose not to make her expand on that and took a bite of my burger. she's... really something.

when i got to lip's house, i remembered i was supposed to have dinner with him and awkwardly had to decline. it was weird anyways, his sister was demanding that i paid for the food. things have been weird since she took over. so after dinner, lip and i went upstairs and did our thing.
he asked for me to stay the night and i agreed, so here i was sitting upright in his uncomfortable ass bed while he had his arm draped around my waist. i thought about billie the whole time i was with lip, admiring her and wishing she was here.
she intrigues me, she's shy, beautiful and bubbly. i wanna get to know her. i wanna take her on dates. i want to explore her. i sighed to myself, shaking my head.
i met her yesterday and i'm already nonstop thinking about her. i'm fucked.
