MADISON
billie told me to wear a dress, but when i got into her car, there was blankets upon blankets in the back seat. she was also wearing a dress that may or may not have rendered me absolutely speechless. i couldn't stop staring at her legs without saying a word. similar to the dress she wore on our first date, she wore a mini white corset dress made of silk. it had silk off the shoulder straps too. it gave a princess vibe and it was really sexy.

i like how billie usually goes for white dresses. it makes her look like an angel and it suits her cute little wholesome personality. "you good?" billie asked and i snapped out of my daydreaming from looking at her legs.

"yeah. you look really beautiful."

"ask me what we're gonna do." billie urged, turned in her drivers seat to look at me.

"...what're we gonna d-"

"we're going to a drive in movie! and then we're gonna go to dinner!" billie excitedly told me.

"at this time?" i chuckled and billie shrugged.

"restaurants can stay open pretty late. we'll see."

"right. what kinda movie?" i asked.

"horror, of course." billie scoffed, turning her car on. "seatbelt."

"right. of course."

thirty minutes later, me and billie were at a drive in movie, sitting on the hood of her car, wrapped in cosy blankets that smelled of her. it was some horror i had never heard of, but i was terrified nevertheless. i kept jumping at all of the scary parts. during one part, a guy is in a room and this little dead girl popped out of nowhere, jumpscaring him.

i jumped, hugging billie and she chuckled, pulling me into her. she placed a kiss on my head. "you're okay, baby."

"i actually really don't like horrors." i admitted, looking up at billie. she looked down at me and kept eye contact, raising a brow.

"big, bad madison is scared of a movie?" she asked and i nodded.

"terrified."

she pulled me closer to her and rested her hand on my cheek, stroking it with her thumb softly. we continued to watch the movie and i grew comfortable but still extremely alert. i hate horror movies with a passion.

at one part, it was silence, and i could feel a jumpscare coming on. billie jumped and screamed, scaring me shitless so i screamed too. she then cackled, pointing at me. "you should have seen your face." she laughed, wiping a tear from her eye. everybody else at the drive-in was staring at her.

"fuck you." i said, holding my hand over my chest. "scared the fuck out of me."

billie was still laughing and she pulled me towards her, running her hands through my hair. "poor baby."

when the movie was over, billie looked up restaurants in the area and to nobody's surprise, they were all closed. so instead, we went to a tacky diner near my place that was open twenty four hours, 'patsy's'. it was cuter, more intimate. it specialised in pies, billie asked about the ingredients and apparently they're "accidentally vegan" and so she got a slice too. it was nice to be eating the same thing as her instead of watching her eat fries as per usual.

i got an apple pie and billie got blueberry. the apple pie was actually really good, i love apple pies. "you know, i've never tried blueberry pie before." i told billie and she looked up at me, mid-shovelling a forkful in her mouth.
