"Come on V, I know how Flitwick's detentions are like, he'll simply check if the shelf is organised tomorrow. He won't come looking for us," The young Regulus Black grinned at the Ravenclaw. Even back then Velda couldn't deny his good looks, no one could.

It was near curfew and once again the pair had gotten themselves into detention to spend time together. Flitwick had given them the task to organise the shelves in the Charms' classroom, without their wands of course. They were stocked away in a wooden box on one of the tables, magically locked so it would only open if the books on the shelf are organised alphabetically.

"Say we'd walk out of this room, only so you can get your biscuits, how would I be able to survive in a magic school without a wand?" Velda raised her brow and continued to glare at the shelf. The things she did only to spend time with this boy sometimes concerned herself.

Regulus grin only widened, "Are you the Ravenclaw or am I? See this?", Velda noticed how he pulled something out of his bag, shaking her head in confusion.

There he was, holding the same exact wand that should be in the box right now.

"How did you do that?" she laughed.

He twirled the wand in his hand, "Sirius likes to forget that it was me who he pulled pranks on our dearest mother with when we were younger and the wand in that stupid box darling, is nothing but a worthless copy of mine."

A smile stretched on her face, "Then do your magic Reggie, we wouldn' t want to waste any biscuit time."

With a flick of his wand, the books organised themselves in alphabetical order and he moved on to the box, which he easily opened with a simple "Alohomora".

Now content with having her wand back, Velda excitedly pushed Regulus out of the door and pulled him with her into the direction of the dungeons. Luckily, it was very close to curfew so not many students roamed the halls and when they did, they'd quickly hide behind one of the dozens statues.

Just when they turned around a corner, Velda noticed, much to her embarrassment, that she was still holding his hand and quickly let go.

She turned her head to the side and pretended as if nothing had happened, hoping that he wouldn't see the soft blush on her cheeks that quickly deepened as she felt his hand grabbing hers again, slowly intertwining their fingers once again.

"Don't be embarrassed V, I know that you're afraid of the dark," Regulus teased with a chuckle, hinting to the dark sky that could be seen through the windows.

Velda chuckled and gently pushed him away from her, only for him to grab her hand once again. "Says the one who is scared of snakes as a Slytherin."
