Rebecca's POV

I woke up as Kay was yelling into my ear. ''Mommy wake up there is someone at the door.'' Kay screamed and I opened my eyes a little confused but then remembered that Micheal was picking us up for the airport. ''Baby go put your clothes on.'' I said to Kay and he ran off. 

''Hey you're here early.'' I said as I opened the door. ''Yeah I thought you would want to go to the airport early.'' Micheal said and I laughed. ''You still remember how I was younger?'' I said and walked inside. ''Yeah you were always freaking out if we didn't get to the airport like 10 hours before.'' Micheal said and I laughed. 

''It was not 10 hours. I just didn't like that dad wanted to show up 5 minutes before.'' I said and Micheal nodded. ''Okey go see how Kay is and I will go get changed.'' I said and Micheal nodded. 

After we got ready Micheal drove us to the airport. ''Okey call me after you land and call Buck as well.'' Micheal said and hugged me. ''Yeah I will. I love you and I will be back in two weeks.'' I said and Micheal smiled. ''Okey go and hope that Kay will be good.'' Micheal hugged me and I laughed. ''Okey I will see you in two weeks.'' I said and walked inside.

England

The flight was good, Kay was great and I even got to sleep a little bit. As we got off the plane I saw my parents. ''Granny.'' Kay yelled and ran to my mom. ''Hey hunny. How was the flight?'' Dad asked me and I smiled. ''It was good.'' I said and Dad took my things. ''Okey let's go home then.'' Mom said and picked up Kay. 

''Can you take Kay for tonight? I have to go visit the station.'' I asked as we got to the car and Mom smiled. ''Of course honey. But it has been a while how do you know that your old co workers are there?'' She said and I smiled. 

''I don't know. I hope that they will.'' I said and we got out of the car. ''Okey and in a few days you are going up north to visit Kay's other grandparents?'' Dad asked me and I nodded. ''Yeah I called his brother and he will tell the parents so yeah.'' I said and got to my old room. ''Mommy are we living here?'' I heard Kay ask behind me and I smiled. ''No no hunny. We are going back home in a week. We are just visiting.'' I said and Kay smiled and ran off to my dad again. 

I changed my clothes and called a cab. ''Are you okey?'' I heard Dad ask me as I waited for the cab. ''I haven't seen any of them since I quit. I don't know if they will even want to see me.'' I said and Dad hugged me. ''No on blames you for getting away. You lost someone you loved and you needed a new start. If they don't see that like that then they are stupid.'' Dad said and I laughed. 

''Okey now the cab is here so go and meet your old friends.'' Dad said and pushed me out the door. As I drove to the station I saw the house where Kay's dad died, I just turned my head away and hoped everything would go okey. 

As I got out of the cab I saw my old captain outside of the station. ''Oh Becca. What are you doing here?'' He said as he saw me. ''I came to see my old playing ground.'' I said and hugged him. ''How is your boy?'' He asked me and I smiled. ''He is great. I could bring him by tomorrow.'' I said and we walked inside. ''Who is still here?'' I asked and captain Luke smiled. 

''Mark's best friend's are still here. And Lucy is still here as well. Rest of the team you had have moved on.'' He said and I nodded. ''It is great to see you and I'm glad to come here.'' I said and I saw Lucy. ''Becca is that really you?'' Lucy screamed and ran to me. ''Hey my dear.'' I said and hugged her back. 

''It is great to see you again. You are like a ghost.'' Lucy said and I smiled. ''Yeah a new life is busy.'' I said and saw Marks picture on the wall. ''New people always ask about him always.'' Luke said and I smiled a little. ''I always talk to Kay about him.'' I said and they both smiled. ''Come see Dylan and Mike.'' Lucy said and pulled me along. 

''How are you doing?'' I asked as we walked around the station. ''I'm doing great. Michelle and I have a baby.'' She said and I smiled. ''Omg that's great. How old?'' I asked as I smiled. ''She is 3 mouths old. And she is great.'' She said and I nodded. ''I would love to meet her and see Michelle again.'' I said and suddenly I was lifted up. ''Omg if it isn't the LA girl.'' Dylan said as he put me down. ''Haha I'm still from here.'' I said and punched his arm. 

''What are you doing here anyway?'' Dylan asked me and I smiled. ''Wanted to see all of you and Kay needs to see his other grandparents and family as well.'' I said and looked at Marks picture again. ''Can I talk to you?'' I heard Mike suddenly ask me and I nodded. We walked away from others and sat down on a bench. ''So what's up?'' I asked him and Mike looked at Marks picture. 

''I wanted to say I'm sorry.'' Mike said and I looked at him weird. ''What ever for?'' I asked him and he looked back to me. ''For Mark. He saved me and he died because of it.'' He said and I shook my head. ''Mark took a stupid risk but it wasn't your fault in any way.'' I said Mike shook his head. ''Did you know that Mark thought that you were pregnant before you knew? He told me two days before the fire, he was so happy. So when everything went down I thought why should I live when I have nothing and he's about to have a family.''  Mike said and I laughed. 

''Mark thought that I was pregnant every week.'' I said and he looked shocked. ''Every time I was sick or a little too tired he bought me a test. It's weird he wanted a baby more then me sometimes. But trust me he didn't know.'' I said and hugged Mike. ''He loved this work and he loved all of us but it was 100% his fault he took that risk.'' I said and Mike hugged me back. 

''Thank you so much. I just have had these thoughts since everything happened.'' Mike said and I smiled. ''Well there has to be some other reason you are here. You couldn't miss us so much.'' He said and I laughed. ''I had a boyfriend in LA.'' I said and Mike smiled. ''And you are feeling like you are cheating on him.'' Mike said and I nodded. ''I can't shake this feeling that Mark would hate me for letting this other guy get closer me and Kay.'' I said and Mike shook his head. 

''He would never hate you. He told me hundreds of times that if anything would happen to him he would like to see you happy and I could see that you are.'' He said and I smiled. ''I am happy. I hope you are as well.'' I said and Mike nodded. ''I'm getting there.'' He said and we walked back to others. ''So how is your new crew?'' I was asked and I smiled. ''Great. I love them and Kay loves being around them as well.'' I said and they smiled. ''And the reason you are smiling? He is apart of the crew as well?'' Cap asked and I laughed. ''Yeah he is.'' I said and we talked about what all of us have done.

After about 20 minutes the crew got the call so I said goodbye and left to go home when I saw Mark's brother. ''Hey Becca.'' He said and came to hug me. ''Hey. How are you Joe.'' I hugged him back and he smiled. ''Oh doing great. So I will see you up north in a few days.'' He said and I nodded. ''How did your parents react?'' I asked and Joe smiled. ''They are very happy. They wanted to talk to you actually before you called me.'' He said and I smiled. 

''I'm happy and I will see you in a few days.'' I said and started to walked back to home. As I got home I saw Kay watching some cartoons so I called Buck. ''Hey how are you?'' I asked as he picked up. ''Hey I'm doing great. So how was your meeting with your old crew?'' Buck asked and I heard worry in his voice. ''It was great and I already got something I came here for so I'm coming back a little sooner then I had planed.'' I said and Buck cheered. 

''You know I can't handle hearing Eddie talking about you anymore.'' He said and I smiled. ''Don't worry about it. When I come back I hope everything will go back to normal.'' I said and smiled. ''But how are you really?'' I asked Buck and I heard him sighed out. ''I don't even know. I hope I can talk with my parents again and they will hear me out.'' He said and I smiled. ''I hope that as well.'' We talked for a little while how the work was and as Kay came running to me.

''Okey Buck I need to put this guy to bed but I will call when we are coming back.'' I said and smiled. ''Okey I will see you in a week.'' Buck said and we said goodbye. ''Buddy did you have a good day?'' I asked Kay and he smiled. ''I had so much fun but I miss Chris.'' He said and I smiled a little. ''You will see Chris in some days and then you can play with him again.'' I said and got Kay ready for bed. ''I love baby.'' I said and kissed his head. ''Good night mommy.'' Kay said and closed his eyes.
