Rebecca's POV

As I woke up I heard Kay laughing with my parents and I checked my phone seeing that Mark's brother had messaged me and said he will pick me up around 11. I saw the time and saw that we had about a hour before he will come here.

''Hey good morning dear.'' Mom said as I came down. ''Good morning. Joe is coming to pick us up in an about a hour.'' I said as I kissed Kay's head. ''Okey how do you feel about going there?'' Dad asked me as he made me a tea. ''I think this will be great. I'm a little nervous but I hope that everything will be great.'' I said and started to eat my breakfast.

A little later.

As I got my and Kay's things ready I started to get more and more nervous. What is Mark's parents will hate me for moving to LA or getting together with Eddie. I hope that everything will go well. ''Becca, Joe is here.'' I heard my dad yell and I walked down stairs. ''Kay this is your other uncle Joe. You remember I told you about him.'' I said and Kay waved to him. ''He looks so much like Mark.'' Joe said with little tears in his eyes.

''Yeah but I like to think he was some of me as well.'' I said and picked Kay up. ''Okey I will see in two days.'' I said to mom and dad and kissed their cheeks. ''Love you both.'' Mom said and kissed Kay's head. ''Okey let's get going.'' Joe said and picked my stuff up. ''Kay say bye bye.'' I said and Kay waved at my parents.

As we drove I told a little more about my visit and what has happened to my life. ''So you want my parents blessing to move on?'' Joe asked and I nodded. ''In some way yes. I have this block in my mind that I can't shake. I feel like I'm being disloyal to Mark.'' I said and Joe laughed. ''Oh you haven't changed at all. You worry about other more than you.''

''Yeah that is a bad habit.'' I laughed and Joe smiled as well. As we got closer to Joe's parents house I started to freak out. ''Calm down. My parents love you and they won't hate you.'' Joe said and I nodded. ''I will try. And thank you for doing this.'' I said and Joe stopped the car.

''Okey Kay let's go.'' I said as I picked him up from the behind. Joe walked ahead of us and knocked on the door. ''Hey Mom.'' Joe said as the door opened. ''Oh I see you almost every week. I need to see my grand baby.'' Joe's mom said and pushed past him. ''Oh Becca it so great to see you.'' She said and I smiled.  ''It's great to see you too. Kay this is your other granny.'' I said and Kay smiled and waved his hand.

''Hi. Oh you look just like your dad.'' Granny said and Kay laughed. ''Daddy Mark. I look daddy Mark.'' Kay said and Granny had tears in her eyes. ''Yeah. Oh come in, Joe you can put the things upstairs.'' Granny said and I smiled. ''You can put the things here, I will take them later.'' I said to Joe but he just laughed. ''My mom would kill me if I didn't take them right now. Plus you are a quest.'' Joe said and walked up the stairs.

''So where is Lucas?'' I asked Mary and she smiled. ''Out back. He is making food for us. Kay let's go see your grandpa.'' Mary said and took Kay out of my arms. ''Oh there is my boy.'' Lucas said as he saw us walking out side. ''Kay do you like fish and chips?'' Lucas asked and Kay nodded with a happy face. ''Me and Chrssi eat them a lot.'' As Kay said that I got a weird look from both of them.

''Chris is one of my co workers son. Kay loves to play with him.'' I said a little lie because I didn't want Kay to be around when I told them about Eddie. ''Oh that is great. So we are going to have  lunch and then Lucas and Joe are going to take Kay hiking.'' Mary said and I smiled. ''That sounds great. This little boy loves the outdoors and if I have a day of I usually take him hiking as well.'' I said and Joe came out with some drinks.

''It's a beautiful day so I thought that we should have lunch out here.'' Joe said as he gave me one beer. ''Still a dark right?'' He asked me smiling and I nodded. ''Always.'' I said and took a sip. As we ate lunch I started to freak out again because I knew that Mary wanted to talk to me alone. Why else she would send the boys away on a hike.
