Y/n's pov:
Finally. After the long drive, we finally made it to Tulsa. We have been unpacking for a couple of hours now. As much as I don't want to be here, I like our new house. It's small. Smaller than our house in Texas. Maybe that's why I like it. My room is small as well. I don't need much space anyway. Before we left, my dad sold pretty much everything I owned that wasn't "essential" to this random dude with five daughters. No biggie. He's done worse. It only took me about 30 minutes to unpack my personal things. I didn't want to sit and stare at the wall, but I didn't want to talk to my parents either. Then an idea popped into my head. It never hurts to explore. I walked out to the kitchen, and found my mom rummaging through her purse. I tried to make a run for it.
"Where do you think you're going?" She gave me an evil smile. I stood quiet. Say something!
"Umm..... I just wanted to explore! Y'know? Like around the town?" Nailed it. She gave me a suspicious look.
"Take a while." I turned around and rolled my eyes. She didn't care about me. I knew that.
