Parentage: the King and Queen of planet Steel
Story: Sapphire was sent to Earth to live with her Aunt Stacy because the amount of Scandium on Planet Steel would kill her. Her aunt died in a car crash, and Sapphire was then sent to an orphanage. The way her people lived made her have powers on planet earth, but all others did not. She never knew her parents but knew they were alive and well. After living in the orphanage for 5 years she turned 8, a foster family adopted her. She soon ran away, because they treated her badly. The next 2 years were hard until Sportsmaster found her. One day at school she was conducting an experiment with dangerous chemicals, and out of the corner of her eye she saw a shadow that belonged to no one, overwhelmed she accidentally spilled the chemicals on herself. She passed out because of the toxic chemicals entering her body, later that week she got her powers. She learned how to use them, with the help of Sportsmaster and then became Sportsmasters beloved apprentice.
