"I had the time of my life, not really with Hydra and I swear this is true and I owe it up to you!" I was adding in my own lyrics.
Although this song was only released in 1987, none of them will be alive to hear it so, I'm good with keeping the timeline straight. I was now locked in a cell with my rucksack being used as my pillow. I was lying down on one of the super thin army mattresses, you get used to it after awhile. I was laying down on my back singing to a song that was so good no one would get it. I was changing the mystical lyrics to ones that fit my situation. I had a rubber ball in my hand, I was throwing it against the wall trying to keep myself sane while driving the guards in front of my cell door, insane!
"I swear if she keeps doing this, we won't be able to follow Schmidt's orders. We'll all be ready to shoot her at the slightest infraction of our rules." One of the guards said to his neighbour, who was guarding the cell next to me.
"Calling all Hydra Agents. Come to the main docking area. We have made a great advance in the war! Hail Hydra!" A voice over the intercom said.
The men guarding the private cells, all dismissed themselves, and left.
"Perfect!" I called.
I raced towards the door and pushed it open. The door automatically locked so I put some clay in the hole for the door mechanism without them noticing and just waited for the opportunity.
I ran to the cell next to me, "Hey, you! In the back!" I called.
I was going to break out my fellow prisoner. I froze the door mechanism, and busted it. I yanked the door open with tremendous difficulty, what is this made of solid concrete.
Note to self: See if concrete is as heavy as this.
The man stood up and walked towards the open door. He looked both ways then walked out he looked down at me in disbelief.
"I'm Holly! What's your name mister?" I said sticking out my hand to shake.
"Doctor" he replied
"Mister Doctor?" I asked.
He chuckled and shook his head.
"No, my name is Doctor Erskine." He smiled.
"Doctor Who?" My hearing was still a teensy bit messed up.
He looked towards my ears and nodded as if understanding. "My name is Doctor Abraham Erskine, I am a scientist. I am developing a serum to create a super soldier. I was Captured by Schmidt and was forced to use it on him." He explained louder.
He then reached towards my ears.
I yelped and pulled back into a defensive stance covering my ears with my hands, and a pout on my lips. I glared at him. He chuckled at my childish antics.
"Just let me get a closer look at your ears and I might be able to fix them." Doctor Erskine told me.
I slowly and reluctantly let him look at my ears.
He mumbled to himself and nodded then he reached into his pocket and grabbed tweezers. He approached my ears with them and grabbed something inside my ear and yanked it out. I yelped in pain, I sounded like a hit dog.
What he had pulled out was a metal block that fit my ear perfectly. I didn't know what it was or why it was in my ear.
"It seems Zola decided to keep you in check, now he won't be able to control you." Dr. Erskine told me
"Thank you so much!" I said gratefully, I leaned up and looped my arms around his neck in a tight hug.
I released him and grabbed his arm, snow swirled around us, and I was able to transport us outside the perimeter.

I thought we were safe but I heard shouting behind us. The Hydra agents had surrounded us. Schmidt came up and stood in front of his men, I could make out Johnathan out of all the men surprisingly.
"You expected to be able to escape Skadi?" The Hydra leader asked me.
"My name is Holly!" I growled under my breath.
"If you come with me Skadi," I cut him off,
"Holly!"
"If you come with me Skadi, then I will let the good Doctor go." He tries to reason with me. I honestly would have gone with him, but I don't know what's going on so I'll help him escape and then surrender myself.
I grabbed Erskine's arm and yanked him with me. I swirled my hand creating a small snow blizzard where I once stood. I pulled him behind me, while I ran as fast as I could. Once I was far enough away I stopped. I twirled my hands and snow rose up from the ground swirling and forming a box. Not any box, it was a tall London telephone box. It started to solidify. Now in front of us stood a tall blue London telephone box, it said it was a police box, I dubbed it the Tardis.
"Get in!" I said to Dr. Erskine.
I pushed him into the box, and dialled Camp Lehigh. And closed the box door. It started to spin and turn and then spiralled away into the sky.
Hydra men surrounded me. I was used to this but instead of fighting bad guys who play dirty I'm used to fighting good guys who play clean. One came very close to me, I waited until he was close enough and then I started fighting. I head butted the closest soldier and then the fight continues from there.
Johnathan finally approached the fight, I knocked out the last goon. Johnathan came closer and I knew this was going to be a good fight. I wiped the blood off my lip with my fist.
"I can do this all day." I said.
Johnathan and I started to fight, he was an extremely talented fighter. The only advantage he had on me was his physique. We were fighting for quite a while the snow painted red from all the fights, but most of it wasn't my blood. We were on par, it was astounding that we both had a similar level of combat training. We would throw punches, block them, throw kicks and block them, it was almost like a dance. We knew the next step and moved in sync to a rhythm only we knew. Johnathan finished the fight with a solid punch to my temple. The punch knocked me down to the ground. I was laying there in the blood covered snow, with my injuries slowly healing because I was in the snow and cold. I slowly started to lift myself onto my knees. I giggled, they all took a step back as if I were crazy. Now reinforcements had come, I was still on my knees. They called for me to put my hands up and to get up. I was pushed onto my knees and held at gun point. I looked up, I was now looking straight into Schmidt's ugly face. He seemed really angry and pissed off, so I grinned up at him with blood smeared on my pyjamas, that still hadn't changed, and face. I probably looked crazy.
"Where is Abraham Erskine!?" He called while glaring at me fiercely.
"Safe in America." I answered him calmly.
He turned around and let out a cry of frustration, it was then I finally saw him in the light, his head no longer held the aristocratic looks, but a sinister red skull like look. He turned around swiftly and punched me in the face. The force of the punch almost knocked me out, he had become much stronger. I was slowly fading into unconsciousness as I was being carried back to the Hydra base where Zola and Schmidt had started to collect war prisoners.
Since I was a prisoner as well they thought that I might as well be placed with some of the prisoners. I was in a "cage" as I have dubbed the prison blocks. They were not like average holding cells, these were circular and had bars in every inch. Most of the prisoners were forced to stand up because their cells were so full of people that there was no room. There weren't many war prisoners yet, but I knew more were to come.
I still wasn't sure of the purpose of this but I was acquainting myself with some of the prisoners.
There was a fellow who was French called Jacques Dernier, only one other person could speak French and that was Gabriel Jones but he prefers to be called Gabe. Gabe was an African-American soldier whom I enjoyed talking to, him and his unit had been captured when fighting along a French resistance member and this is how he come to know Jacques Dernier. Jacques only spoke French so Gabe, who was a linguistic major, was one of the only ones who could translate for him.
I spent a lot of my time hanging out with the men who were being captured I felt extremely bad since many of them were squeezed into the cells with as many as possible could fit into the cells, while I was the sole person in my cell. Gabe and I spent many a night talking to each other about what we thought was going on in the war. Since Jacques was only able to understand French we spent much of our time, Gabe and I, talking in French. Jacques and I got along quite well, he was very happy that there was another American who could speak French. I ended up having to explain to them that I was not in fact American, they freaked out and thought I was a spy, but then when I told them that I was Canadian they both told me that that was even better than American. Over the course of a week Jacques and Gabe had become some of my closest friends even though they both were adults.
The next week some new prisoners were brought in, their leader was a paratrooper. I could tell by his beret, that he was a British paratrooper, in the Union Jack. He ended up being in the cell next to me, when I was explaining to Jacques and Gabe (in French) what regiment of the British troops he was in, the man heard me. He immediately asked how I knew this, and I told him that I had studied many war regiments from the first war and am now able to identify many of them in now World War 2. He was impressed with my vast knowledge and introduced himself as Second Lieutenant in the British Paras, James Montgomery Falsworth. The british man and I became quite good friends, him being apart of the British aristocracy made him have a much more, well mannered way of speaking.
James, Gabe, and Jacques became good friends as well. Since they were on either sides of me I would relay the messages.
"Qu'est-ce que tu penses est le raison que nous sommes ici?" Jacques asked
"Why do you think we're here? That's what Jacques asked." I translated for James.
"Well, I think we're here for experimentation in all honesty Jacques. It's just one of my men was brought out last night and he hasn't come back, and I heard some of the lackies talking about a Dr. Zola and his Super-Soldier experiment." James said through the bars.
"James penses c'est à cause des expériment. Il a entendu des soldats parlé de ça... Un de ses soldats ont été prit par Hydra." I explained to Jacques.
I turned around having not registered the words until I had translated them.
"James! Why didn't you tell me one of your men had been taken. Especially last night! When did this happen, I thought I was awake the whole night?" I exclaimed turning back to face James.
I could faintly hear Gabe translating for Jacques.
"You were asleep when it happened love." He replied smiling fondly.
"I thought I told you guys to wake me up if I fell asleep!" I exclaimed pouting turning to face the empty cell block in front of me.
I was addressing all three of my adult friends this time. They all started to make up excuses in their mother tongues.
When suddenly a new voice rung out, it was from the empty cell in front of me. I hadn't noticed the man sitting there. His back against the far wall, he was young but wasn't just under the enlistment age. He seemed underweight which wasn't that uncommon for prisoners, but it was surprising on him, because he seemed to be in the American troops, and they were generally well fed. He was of Japanese decent from the look but he spoke English, and I honestly could care less of his nationality. The only prominent thing I noticed about him was that he was all alone in his cell.
"They didn't wake you up because you needed the sleep, and you looked very peaceful." The man said.
I crawled slowly and cautiously towards the bars of my cell that were closest to him. He was hidden in the shadows of his cell but I could faintly see the features of his face his features were soft and not threatening in the least. My small hands wrapped around the cold rusted bars of the cell wall.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think we've met?" I said in a voice normally characterized as soft, it was normal for me but unusual for the men in the cells.
The man laughed, "No lass, I don't think we would have considering I came in here last night and had a nice chat with your friends. Turns out Gabe and I have a lot in common, being judged by the white American folk like you, no offence," he stops to add that in.
"None taken. I know that the American prejudices can be harsh but I don't believe in them." I informed him.
"Thanks, anyways my name's Jim, Jim Morita, I was a private in my regiment..." he trailed off.
"Speaking of your regiment, why are you all alone? Normally they cram the whole regiment into the one cell block." I ask.
He grimaces and goes to move but winces.
"I wouldn't be here if it weren't for my RSM. Our captain was the first killed. So then Hydra had us line up they were testing their weapons on us, I didn't get to see it because my RSM. Tackled me out of the way and got hit by the beam instead. The leader Schmidt actually wanted me to suffer more so he broke my leg with his foot somehow, and sent me here, to suffer." Jim explains trying to move again but wincing.
"Your leg still hasn't gotten anything?" I asked worried about if it would heal properly.
"Obviously not we were all stripped of our few belongings when we were grabbed." He explained kind of harshly.
I went to the middle of my cell and moved some of the flooring. James, Jim and Gabe all gasped, Gabe was asleep when I made it and I made Jacques promise not to tell anyone. I reached in and pulled out my rucksack.
I started to rummage through my rucksack. I pushed essentials out of the way. I pulled my first aid kit out and an energy bar made for soldiers. I had tons of them. All the soldiers got a little meal consisting of mainly water and bread, sometimes they got something else. I always gave my meals to the soldiers since I was smaller and didn't need to eat as much, and also because my meals were normally much larger. I have only eaten a small portion of the food, I would drink the water and have a slice of bread and a piece of potato then would hand off my plate to different cells, I was able to slide it to the cells next to me. And, since I gave most of my food to the soldiers none of them resented me. I haven't opened this safe since I made it, so now they knew I had supplies. I wrapped a package up it had what Jim would need, and a healing pill after I had verified he knew how to use it.
The next day Jim went to test out the splint he had made and he said that he felt no pain. I told him that he should maybe take off the splint to see. And when he took it off and put his weight on his broken leg he didn't fall.
"What was in that pill? I'm completely healed in a night!" Jim exclaimed throwing me the first aid supplies.
"Magic?!" I answered ringing my hands.
He just kind of laughed.
"You're not serious right?" He asked.
I gave a shy smile and nodded. Now all my friends didn't believe me and insisted that I prove myself. So I just kind of looked down and held my hand slightly out from my body, palm facing upwards.
"Just, don't freak out, alright?" I said to them before I did my 'magic' trick.
Suddenly from my hand burst a small bit of wintery magic. A snowflake and a small swirl. A cold breeze blew through the cells. It was strong and blew some of the men's hats off, including the hat of a prisoner being brought in.
A bowler hat was swept through the lines of cells and then finally came to rest upon the ground in front of my cell. I heard someone yelling about the hat, and how the Hydra soldiers wouldn't let them get it. I think Hydra had just captured more American soldiers by the man yelling's accent and vocabulary. They were probably going to put them in the cell cylinder two over from Jim, it was the only other holding cell that was empty. I saw they had pushed about twenty to forty men into it. The man, whom I'm guessing was the owner of the bowler hat, was ranting and raving in a very vulgar American slang about how they couldn't just go and bring the bowler hat to him, or at least let him get it. He was very adamant about getting his hat back, he was ready to fight to get his hat back until one of the guards shoved him into the cell, closed the door and locked it. Luckily I recognized the guard, he was a Holly sympathizer which was good for me.
"Max!" I called to the fifteen year old.
He was actually not even supposed to be here he was a Jewish boy, but he escaped from Auschwitz. I knew he was going to be found and sent back so I tried to be his friend. He didn't tell me this but was absolutely terrified when he found out I knew. His full name is Max Eisenhardt, and he is a mutant, his power is to control metal.
"What do you want this time Holly?" He asked, probably exhausted with me always calling on him.
"Um... I have to pee," I said knowing that this would always work. Even though I did have to go to the bathroom.
"Can't you go here?" He asked frustrated.
"No! Duh!" I exclaimed. I had stood up as he was walking towards me, so we were around the same eye level now.
"Why can't you go here?" He asked me.
I gave him a really look. I gestured with my hand all around me. I was surrounded by grown men and I was a young teenage girl, no way no how was I ever going to the bathroom with men all around me!
"Because I am surrounded by men!" I exclaimed, after he still didn't seem to get my gist.
"Fine, but if you try anything... You know I never miss." Max finished, he pulled the cell keys out of his back pocket and unlocked the door, after he had opened it, I cautiously stepped out, then went back and grabbed my bag. As I stepped out again with my bag on my back, I stooped to the ground and gingerly lifted up the bowler hat. I stood back up.
Max slightly shoved me forward when I didn't move. I stumbled forward but caught myself in time. Gabe laughed a little while I scowled at him.
As we were walking out, I slowed a little so I was behind Max. We passed the cell where a man with red hair (orange) and a very badass looking moustache stood looking slightly down cast. I stopped to hand the man back his bowler hat.
"Here's your hat back, Sir." I said in a timid voice I hadn't noticed until now that his rank was on his hat, he was a Corporal.
"Thanks kid, what's your name?" He asked me smiling softly down at me.
"I'm Holly, Corporal." I answered
He gave me a full smile, wide and ecstatic, "The name's Timothy Aloysius Cadwallader Dugan, but everybody calls me Dum Dum Dugan." He replied cheerily.
"Well lovely to meet you Dum Dum Dugan." I said giggling while curtseying.
He laughed, then turned stony faced. I looked behind me and Max even though I could not see his face, was fuming angry. I waved slightly. Max grabbed my arm and yanked me with him, Dum Dum went to protest but I shook my head.
Max pushed me into the bathroom. He locked the door behind me, I didn't think they would have outside locking doors, but I guess it was convenient for them if they had prisoners. I rummaged through my bag and found an outfit that was much more suitable than my torn and bloody pyjamas. The outfit I chose was a pair of long skin tight black leggings, fuzzy socks a white tank top and a simple green and silver plaid cotton button up, and I put my black fuzzy winter boots on. I wrapped a white infinity scarf around my neck, and put some black gloves on, it was March here, and it was really cold.
I didn't have a coat, they took that away from me so I finished with my essentials and knocked on the door to be let out.
Max opened the door and kind of just stood starring at me.
"Come on Max, we need to get back." I told him clapping him on the shoulder.
I started to walk away but then something wrapped around my ankles. I looked down, up from the metal ground were spiralling vines of metal wrapping themselves around my ankle. I looked up at Max, he stood there his arm outstretched. He was controlling the metal, I finally could see his face. He had taken his helmet off and discarded it next to him, his features were carved into an expression of malice and pain.
"Max? What's going on?" I asked him fearfully.
Max had never shown any signs of aggression towards me, let alone use his powers on me. He looked to be in pain, as if he weren't able to control himself. The cell room was just in front of me, I could hear the pounding footsteps of Hydra agents coming towards us.
"Max! Stop it, you're going to get caught!" I called to him.
"I can't control myself." He strained.
Even though that wasn't a normal response, I understood what that meant.
"Please! Whom ever you are that is controlling Max! Please! Stop it!" I called.
Max seemed momentarily stunned and the metal went away. I took my chance and ran, I pushed open the door to the room were the prisoners were detained. I was able to get inside and next to Dugan's cell. The hydra soldiers had their guns up ready to fire.
I was mid stride, when I knew something wasn't right. The soldiers faces changed to that of fear. Time seemed to slow I was just pushing into the next step, when I felt a cold sensation. It surged up from the floor to my feet, spiralling up around my legs, it didn't stop. I could feel the power being put into it. I glanced at Dugan and his face showed pure fear. I looked forward again just as my world went dark.
3rd Person
Holly was now covered in a shiny silver metal. Max was behind her, as he shook his head, his eyes unclouded. He seemed to be shaking something away, as if trying to rid himself of a fly bothering him. After, he looked up, a look of horror crossed his face. He was not only uncovered to be who he was, Max Eisenhardt, not only a mutant but a runaway Jew from Auschwitz. But, also he had harmed and possibly killed his best friend, his only friend for that matter.
Some helpful facts are, that Max was used as an experiment for the man who is hunting him. He was wanted by a man by the name of Dr. Klaus Schmidt, not related to Johann Schmidt leader of Hydra. Klaus Schmidt also has been known as Sebastian Shaw.
   "Halt," cried the lead soldier.
Max turned to run, but as soon as he turned around he found he was surrounded by armed men.
"You're surrounded, surrender!" Called the Hydra Agent on the other side.
Max didn't want to be taken back to Auschwitz. He'd rather die. A man presented himself at the back of the group, he was indistinguishable from Max's position.
"Max! My boy! What are you doing here with Johann?" Called the man in the back.
Max's head snapped up, as if he heard the voice of a ghost and not the voice of a man. The man in the back walked towards the front, he didn't stop. He walked at a slow omniscient pace, the clacking of his shoes could be heard, like thunder on the plains.
When the man presented himself at the front of the armed Hydra Agents, he was noticeably taller then the agents, but also very slim and aristocratic looking. His name didn't have to be said, he was a dark, menacing feature in the time of World War 2. This man ran the experimentation unit. What he did was experiment on Jewish captives, one of them being Max.
"How did you find me." Max asked still not looking up.
His dirty blonde hair hung in front of his eyes, concealing his emotions, but his voice betrayed him. His voice quivered and his lip trembled.
"I knew you were here the entire time. I just waited for you to reveal yourself." The man said.
"Klaus take your pet, and leave my premises immediately, I don't want your filth infecting my men and my doctors." Johann Schmidt emerged from the opposite side, it turned out that Klaus had illegally broken into the Hydra base.
Now that the American soldiers looked around, they noticed it wasn't just Hydra agents surrounding the boy who could control metal, but also Nazi soldiers.
    "Come now Max." Ordered Klaus.
Klaus Schmidt turned around and waved his hand.
Max didn't move. He couldn't. He didn't want to be controlled, constrained, stripped of his freedom. Klaus turned around now glaring.
"Max, Come NOW!" Klaus ordered. This time it was clear it was an order.
Max spun on the spot, his arms outstretched from himself. A silver blob took his feet and then he spiralled upwards, the metal floor moving out of his way. All the German men ran up to capture the mutant Jew, named Max Eisenhardt.

Moments after they all left, the soldiers in the cells became aware of the fact that one of their fellow prisoners was now a silver sculpture. Jim, James, Gabe and Jaques mourned, looking away from the metal encased body of a girl who was too young to be apart of this war, but was a causality none the less. Dugan felt the worse, he felt he was the reason that she was now encased in a silver, bullet proof shell. A sculpture of a girl who was only kind, and put herself in danger to bring him his hat. Dugan would have looked away if he could have, but he was somehow entranced by the silver girl. It was strange, he found that it seemed as if she were still alive.
The silver metal had framed her body perfectly. Every strand of hair, every eyelash, all the cracks on her chapped lips, the darker part of her cheeks were there would have been a red tint due to the cold, were there. She didn't move to tell the truth, but she looked so real.
Dugan reached his hand out to touch her shoulder to say he was sorry, but when he touched the metal it was warm, a warmth only a living thing could possess. He was shocked and wanted to prove his theory right by watching her closer. He not so surprisingly noticed that no part of her body moved even a bit, but after a few seconds of watching her very skeptically, Dugan noticed that there were small, hardly noticeable, puffs of smoke (steam) coming from her mouth. Dum Dum Dugan called out in excitement to the other soldiers that Holly was still alive. They all turned and watched her closely. Noticeable frost started to travel up from her fingertips and it spread from there. Dugan went to touch her again, but this time he touched it, it was freezing cold. He told this to the other soldiers, and they all buzzed with an excitement that he did not understand. The frost was spiralling across her body and making the silver metal turn a blueish white, the colour normally characterized as winter.
Suddenly to the shock of everyone but a man hidden in the shadows, the metal burst from her body. As the metal burst from her body it turned into dry snow.

The girl that emerged from the metal shell, was not the girl who had been encased by it.
