Hey y'all, my name is Deyja as you all know. I met kodie in the home. You want to know what I was in for? Well, that's a story for another time. But I had already been there a year before kodie came, and when she did she was so damaged and was so closed off. It took some time but she eventually came around after my many attempts. Now we're inseparable. We help each other to keep level headed and on a straight path. Speaking of, she's calling now
"Hellooo" I answered
"Hey beautiful, what you up too?" She beamed into the phone
"Not much, actually was just thinking about you."
"Awe you was thinking of lil o me? Funny because I was thinking of you too. I actually want to see if you were free, Mililani invite me out and she insisted I bring you along." She said
"Oh don't say it like it was just her idea."
"Ok I may have agreed with her because I don't want to be a third wheel again. They are so damn in love they don't even pay attention to me when I am there. They suck." She pouted and I laughed
"Don't be using my good graces as a distraction." I laughed
"I rather go out with you anytime. They be to busy lip locking. It's annoying" she rolled her eyes
"Girl don't be no hater, it ain't nobody fault but your own that you a loner." She had told me about this Rae character from her past and personally I wasn't a fan. But I know she still loved her. They went through a lot. It could be triggering for kodie. So I didn't force her into getting in contact with her. Besides loving and being in love are two different things. I knew she loved her but was she still in love with her?
"Noooo we are not having this conversation."
"Fine. All I'm saying is, it's about time you put ya hoochie daddy shorts on and get back out there!" I tried to plead with her.
"Hell no. I'm fine where I'm at." She laughed
"Whatever, what time should I be ready?"
"I'll be by to pick you up in an hour and a half. We are meeting them at their house."
"Okkkk ima start getting ready see you in a few." We said our goodbyes and I began getting myself together...
Mililani pov
We were all sitting at me and cams house deciding where we wanted to go
"The have this new spot uptown, call the samurai dragon. It's this new hibachi spot. You know where they grill your choice of food in front of you." Kodie said
"Ouu that sounds good, I'm dying for the noodles." Deyja said and me and cam agreed.
"Well sounds like a plan! Let's do it." We took both cars and headed that way...the night went well and the food was amazing. I was ready to get home and into bed as my back began to hurt.
