Kodie pov

I woke up early this morning still thinking about yesterday. I wanted today to be a good and fun day so I was just going to ignore the situation and have fun. I grabbed my phone seeing it was 8am I had a few hours before we all needed to meet back into the lobby. So I decided to get up and go take a walk on the beach. Hopefully it would help clear my mind and get me back together. I got up and did my hygiene thing and showered throwing on some shorts and a tank. I grabbed my room key leaving my phone. I didn't need it, I was taking this time to myself. Surprisingly Deyja was still sleep when I left. Probably bc all that bs she did yesterday tired her out.

This was definitely needed, the water was beautiful and the weather was amazing it felt so good out here this morning. Definitely a great way to start off the day.....

Rae pov

I woke up with a major fucking hangover. And I instantly regret drinking so much last night. And I'm up to damn early. Only because I needed to sort this stuff out with kodie and Deyja. I don't want this trip to go badly so I just wanted to talk to kodie for sure and try to make amends with Deyja. Ignoring the pounding I got up and went to the bathroom. I did my hygiene routine also downing some headache pills and water. I put on a simple fit a graphic tee with shorts and some dunks. I slicked my hair back into a low ponytail it was 9:30 and I wanted to use this time to talk with Deyja. So I went over and knocked on their door.

"Oh, Um hey." She answered

"Hey, um I wanted to talk to you real quick. If you don't mind."

"Yea sure, come in." She stood to the side letting me in. She closed the door behind us and let me into the small kitchen.

"Ok, so I don't want any tension between us Deyja. I know your kodie's Bestfriend and trying to look out for her but we all have to at least be cordial."

"Yea...I agree. My bad about yesterday. I just don't want her to be hurt again."

"And I'm not here for that. The person you heard about back then. I am not them. I've changed, and the last thing I want to do is hurt kodie."

"Ok....I guess ill butt out. Don't make me regret it Rae. She really really loves you."

"I won't, and I know I really really love her. Thank you, hug it out?" I stood with my arms out

"Oh why not" she smiled and returned the gesture

"Where is she by the way?" I asked as we pulled apart

"Not sure, she was gone already when I woke and I believe she left her phone here."

"Why? Did something happen?" I asked worried

"I'm sure she's just clearing her head. We also got into it last night. I got to talk to her and apologize."She sighed

"Why?"

"I said some things... I definitely shouldn't have. And I don't know what happened after she came back from seeing you but, she came right in and locked herself in the room."

"Wait, she never came to see me? What do you mean?"

"Uh she did, she went to go find you. Or at least that's what she said."

"No I don't remember-" shit.

"I-I was at the bar all night. I definitely had one to many and I remember being there with someone. But I never saw her.."

"With someone? Who Rae, I'm sure that's why she came back pissed."

"Shit I don't know. Some random who was buying the drinks. It wasn't like that." I stated truthfully. Ain't no way in hell I'd bring her all the way out here just for me to be flirting with other bitches.
