Rae pov

I could have smacked the shit out of Carmen for saying that dumb shit. Luckily Mililani did it for me. I don't know if she was trying to be funny or if she just really didn't know that me and Crystal were no longer together. But still she knew kodie was there, why would she say something like that.
She looked hurt by what Carmen said. She just stared at the ground, Not once did she look up at me. I felt some kind of way. Not to mention she had Deyja with her. I had no problem with it but it seems she clearly had a problem with me. After I handed everyone their room keys I headed back to mines and made myself a drink because that was already stressing a nigga out. And I needed to chill and figure out a way I can get kodie alone and tell her about me and Crystal. That's if her bulldog lets her, rude ass. An hour had passed and I was getting a little hungry. The room service was bland and I kinda wanted something different so I was gonna go down to the restaurant.
As I'm leaving my room kodie is leaving hers. Yes I purposely put us right next to each other while Mililani and Carmen are a few doors down. That was at the time before I knew she was going to have Deyja here.

"O-oh hey" I said

"Hey. I didn't know your room was right next door."

"Yea it is. Um so I'm headed down to the restaurant, care to join? I kinda needed to talk to you."

"Uhh, nah I'm good. We just got our room service, just getting some ice." She said holding up the bucket of ice I didn't even notice she had.

"Right...."

"Yea, but I'm sure Crystal would love to." She said but it sounded like it was more of a question.

"Uh she's actually not here." I said she looked at me surprised

"That's kinda what I-" I was saying but was cut off by Deyja swinging the door open

"You get the ice?" She looked over at me briefly

"Yea i did sorry" kodie said to her

"Then come on, the movie is about to start." Deyja said grabbing her hand pulling her into the room slamming the door in my face. I stood there dumbfounded. The fuck was her problem with me. It's really getting irritating.

Kodie pov
We were done eating and watching the movie and I don't know I kinda was mad at Deyja for that shit she did earlier.

"Ok...what is it. You been quiet since earlier."

"You was mad wrong for that Deyja."

"Girl for what? Pulling you out of a situation that wasn't gone get you nothing but more bullshit lies?"

"Deyja that's foul as fuck that you would say that." I said getting up throwing my trash away

"But is it tho? We are literally next door to her and her girlfriend kodie."

"She not even here Deyja! And I could figure out what the fuck is going on if you would just butt out!"

"Fine then, I was just looking out for you. I won't say or do shit else. Ima mind my business." She shrugged walking off. She know damn well it wasn't that serious. She was doing a lil to much being rude and shit.

"Whatever, ima let you cool down. I'll be back later." With that I left. Rae was trying to tell me something earlier and I wanted to know, so I was going to go find her. I walked down to the restaurant and didn't see her, it was kinda late so she might have went back to her room already. I was leaving out when I seen her at the bar with someone. The girl was leaned all over on her giggling and shit. Shaking my head and I went back to my room.

"Fuck it." I shrugged

"Back so soon huh?" Deyja said when I walked in, I could sense the sarcasm in her voice, but I really ain't have time for that. The room was more like a suite it had a full living room and bedroom and small kitchen area. I went into my room and locked the door her ass can sleep on the couch. I was feed up with everything and I just wanted to sleep at this point. I just really want to enjoy myself. Is that so hard to ask for?

Deyja pov

Ok yea I might have been over the top with the way I was acting towards Rae, but who cares! I'm trying to avoid my Bestfriend from being hurt all over again. She slammed the room door locking it. Great, now she's pissed at me. It was late and to much had already went down and it's our first day here. Tomorrow I'd make it up to her, and the rest of the trip I'd just mind my business. I clean up our mess and got some blankets from the closet and took the couch luckily it was a pull out. I just hope we can enjoy this trip...

Rae pov

One drink led to another and that drink led to many. It had me all in my feelings. All I kept thinking about was kodie. This trip was starting out so bad. All because of her stank attitude ass Bestfriend. I'm not mad she came but, I really wanted to use this time to spend with kodie. Just us and some quality time together. I was going to tell her that me and Crystal called it quits. And I know what you thinking 'you should have been told her' Well we just started actually talking a few weeks ago. And I felt like if I did that would have set a certain tone, and after everything we are definitely not there yet. We still have so much to work on. At least then. Now I feel like we should be moving forward. We can't deny the love that we have for each other.As of now things were casual, we had just been trying to get back to being friends. Getting to know each other all over again. And now I was ready for something more. Deyja needed to find her something or someone to do on this trip so she can stay out our business. Because weather she like it or not, I was gonna find a way to get to kodie and talk to her.
