you walk aimlessly through the store aisles. you mentally face-palmed yourself for not bringing a grocery list. you had figured you wouldn't need to since you lived alone, but that theory proved to be false.

there were little things like toilet paper, toothpaste, and dish liquid that you had gotten.

when it came down to food, you just grabbed anything that looked appetizing. along with things like different pasta noodles, cereals, and chips, you tried to find some different meats.

you didn't really cook, so you never really bought anything. now coming to the realization that people would be coming to your house, you knew you should probably stock up more.

you dug your phone from your pocket to see how much time you had left before you should start heading home. it was only 11:14, so you had at least two hours. tengen only had in person instructions on monday, tuesday , and friday .

you tried to go to class everytime you were able to. sometimes, he'd have an open class for any students to come in and get extra help. you pushed your cart towards the the front of the store.

you decided on going with the self checkout. It would be a lot faster over standing in line.

"you need all of that for yourself?" a voice chuckled from behind you. you roll your eyes, already recognizing the voice as tengen's .

"shouldn't you be teaching a class?" you shoot back. "nope, i cancelled it for the day." he smirked. "why?" "because you can model the clay by yourselves." he shrugged.

"how am i gonna see zenitsu??"

"you can hang out outside of school."

you roll your eyes again. you continue scanning your groceries, ignoring the feeling of being watched. "what the hell do you want, Tengen?" you growl. "feisty today, are we?" he purred.

you flick him off behind your shoulder before scanning your remaining items. "[y/n], when's your date with gyutaro ?" tengen questioned. your brows furrowed in confusion. the only people who had known about this were you, gyutaro, zenistu, inosuke , and tanjirou .

"what makes you think i have a date with him?" you ask. "zenitsu told me." he smiled.

"why?" you ask.

"because i want you to come to my house."

"what?" you almost yell. "for art reasons obviously." he says. "i can just wait until class you know?" you respond. "but this is an out of class experience." the hairs on your arms stand up almost instantly. "well, what are you teaching?" you ask. "it's hands on." he winks.

you feel your lips curl upwards into a smile. "you're so gross." you chuckle. "did you think the same thing as you were under my desk?" he slyly asked. your smile drops into a look of embarrassment.

"i'll come. what's your number so i can get the address." you ask. tengen scribbles a sequence of numbers down on the back of his receipt.
handing it to you, he pushes his cart out of the automatic doors.

you follow not too far behind back to your car. silently scanning the parking lot, you try to find any sign of him. somehow, it's like he completely vanished. you open your trunk, carefully loading the baggies groceries inside. you take the quickest route home, trying to get back to tengen as soon as possible. it takes ten minutes to put the groceries away before pulling out your phone.

typing in his digits, you send a picture of yourself with the words:

"your favorite student is here."

[Tengen]: "are you ready to come over?"

this granted you tengens address. looking at it on maps, he lived seventeen minutes away. you walk into your bathroom to make sure your sundress looked fine. it outlined your shape really well, making you wiggle your hips a little. you re-tie your ponytail and leave your apartment.

before long, you pull into a driveway of a two-story house. the house was flushed completely white, glass windows everywhere. you could see into the living room and a little into the kitchen sitting in the driveway alone. There was a garage next to the house but not connected to it. the backyard was large, not fenced as well. you could somewhat see a back patio, but your vision was limited from the huge house.

you turn off your car and make your way up to the door. you look through the glass to see a shirtless tengen stretching. he had only worn basketball shorts.

his hair was down around his face as he looked around the room. you knock lightly on the glass, and he turns around. a smile appears on his face as he walks to the door. "[y/n]! good to see you."

he smiles, pulling you into a hug. he smelled like he was fresh out of the shower, his skin soft and slightly moist. "you just saw me." you reply.

"but it's always good to see your face." he smiles. he moves aside for you to step inside. his house smelled like an open field. More then likely, it's probably because his back door was wide open.

"well come in, [y/n]. we've got work to do."
