Max and Lucas have been pranking each other for six days now. They finally got to have their friends help them yesterday and today for the last prank. 

"Alright, who has ideas?" Max asked Dustin and El as they sat in the basement so the other group couldn't hear them. 

"I have one, but it is a little intense. I think it would be a great grand finale." Dustin wiggled his eyebrows, making El and Max interested in his idea. He shared an incredibly detailed plan with them about the last prank. 

"While that is a great idea, Dustin, are you sure Lucas wouldn't know it's a prank?" El questioned him. 

"Max will just have to pull off one hell of a performance!" Dustin smirked at Max who was excited to see how their prank would go. 

"I can do it. I'm going to need your help, El. Plus, we'll need to go to the store for supplies as soon as possible." Dustin shot right up and began walking towards the steps.

"Are you guys coming or not? We should go while they're busying coming up with their prank!"

The girls and Dustin ran out the front door hoping none of the guys would notice they were gone. 

Meanwhile, Lucas, Will, and Mike were conversing about their pranks on the deck. They all heard a car drive by but brushed it off as a neighbor. 

"We need to get Max good. Her pranks have been ridiculously creative." Lucas told the boys. 

"Why can't we put Nair in her shampoo? Max bald, are you kidding me? That's the funniest thing I would have ever seen!" Mike exclaimed. 

"Let's not do anything permanent," Will provided a voice of reason. 

"I agree with Will on that one. She would never forgive any of us. Plus, that's basic." Mike reluctantly agreed with them. 

The boys were having trouble coming up with an idea. The pranks were too common or Max would never fall for them. They ended up deciding on one, but it could not happen until the sunset. 

Lucas, Will, and Mike went inside a minute after the girls and Dustin go home. They all decided to watch a movie since it was getting windy outside. No one but Lucas seemed to notice Max slip upstairs halfway through. 

Lucas decided to follow her. He thought maybe he'd catch her setting up a prank. However, when he got upstairs, he only heard muffled cries coming from the bathroom. This made him a little on edge. He knew he could be getting pranked, but Max rarely cries so he chose to check up on her. 

"Max, you okay in there?" Lucas asked, knocking on the door. He could hear her feet stuffing as if she was pacing back and forth. 

"Um yeah, can you just get El up here?" Her voice was strained, which made Lucas incredibly concerned. Lucas did as he was asked and went downstairs to fetch El.

"What's going on? Did she throw up again?" El asked as they were walking upstairs. 

"Wait, when did she throw up?"

"This morning...she didn't tell you?" El gave him a weird and slightly concerned look. 

"No! Is she okay? Is she sick?" Lucas was frantic. 

"Calm down. It's probably just a bug. I'm going to go check on her." El knocked on the bathroom door and slipped inside. 

Lucas tried his best to hear what was happening.

"Holy shit," El whispered. "You need to tell him."

Those five words worried Lucas to a whole other extent. What was she keeping from him? 

"El..." He could hear Max crying to El. 

"What the hell is going on?" Lucas raised his voice so they could hear him. He didn't get a response, but the door opened, and Max stepped out. 

"I'm so sorry," Tears roll down Max's face as she wraps her arms around Lucas's neck, hugging him. 

Lucas shot a confused look at El, who looked equally freaked out. She left the room so they could have some privacy. 

"Max, I don't understand. What are you sorry about?" He said softly, trying his best to provide comfort. 

She pulled away from him, pulled something out of her sweatshirt pocket, and placed it in his hand. 

"Fuck," Lucas whispered as he looked at the positive pregnancy test in his hand. 

"Yeah, fuck," Max repeated. "I don't know what to do, Lucas." Her eyes were looking desperately at him. 

"Hey, you're not in this alone, and you have options. It is your body, so I will support you in whatever you chose." As much as Lucas would love for Max to have his children, they were still kids themselves. 

"I want to keep it," Max expressed to him. His eyes grew wide. Lucas did not expect her to say that. 

"Okay...we have a lot to think about then."

"I know, I think I want to tell you that YOU GOT PRANKED!" Max yelled. Dustin and El ran into the room, laughing at him. 

Lucas crumbled to the ground, relieved as hell. 

Mike and Will appeared in the doorway, very confused. 

"What did we miss?" 

"We just pranked the fuck out of Lucas. Here, watch the video."

"YOU GOT THAT ON VIDEO!" Lucas exclaimed.

"Yeah. That was pretty mean. I'm sorry," Max said, trying not to burst out laughing. 

"That scared the shit out of me," Lucas hugged Max. 

"You responded to it perfectly," Max gave him a peck on the lips. 

Due to the chaos, Max's prank caused, the boys decided they won and didn't even do their last prank. It started storming too, so the group just watch TV for the rest of the night. Eventually, everyone went upstairs for the night. 

"Max, why is there a cup of Coca-Cola in the bathroom?"

"Oh, that makes pregnancy tests positive. It has something to do with the chemicals in it, I think," She laughed. 

They lay in bed next to each other, listening to the thunderstorms outside, and used each other for warmth more than the blankets. 

"I'm not pregnant, but if I was, I'm glad it would've been with you," Max confessed as she rested her hand on his cheek.

"One day," He placed a kiss on her forehead.

"One day," She smiled.
