lake house quarantine ~ lumax

It's March 13th and today is the day the party gets to leave Hawkins for a week. Spring break was early this year so they decided to go to Mike's lake house. It's roughly a six-hour drive but it's somewhere the kids were allowed to go without parents. They all decided that Mike would pick them all up at 4 am that morning.

Mike picked up El first and she sat in the passenger seat. Then he picked up Will and Dustin so they were in the middle seats. Lastly, Max and Lucas were picked up and they got the back.

"So what time should we be thereby?" Dustin basically screamed from his excitement.
"Dude it's 4 in the morning turn down your volume," Max replied sassily.
"Someone hasn't had their coffee.... anyway Mike how long is the drive?"
"About 6 hours so hopefully we'll be there before 10," Mike said while setting up the GPS on his phone.
"Ok cool." Thirty minutes later everyone but Mike fell back asleep.

Around 8 am everyone woke up and started complaining that they were hungry so they pulled into a Panera to get breakfast.
"Thank god we found somewhere to eat. No one wants to know what a hungry Max is like," Lucas said with a bit of relief.
"Hey I'm not that bad," Max said playfully punching Lucas's arm.
"Babe it's pretty bad but whatever helps you sleep at night," Max rolled her eyes while the rest of the party laughed at them. Everyone decided to just get bagels and smoothies.
"Geez Will you devoured that bagel," El laughed as Will stuffed his face with his food. While they were eating they talked about the plan for the rest of the day.
"We have a 2-hour car drive left then we can get settled into our rooms," Mike explained.
"How many rooms are there?" Will replied.
"There are three rooms. Two of them have king-sized beds and the other has two queens in it."
"Me and Dustin can take the queens right, Dustin?"
"Yeah sure but I better not hear you two," he says pointing at Max and Lucas "or you two," he says now pointing at Mike and El "doing anything nasty," Dustin said dead serious. The two couples were red in the face while Will bursts out laughing.
"You won't," Mike and Lucas said at the same time.
"Yeah well, you said that last time," Dustin laughed.
Everyone threw away their trash and got back into the car.

Since everyone was awake now they jammed out to some music.
"Anyone got music suggestions?" El asked.
Everyone replied with a bunch of songs like:

With the chaos of everyone singing and dancing it felt like they were there in 30 minutes.

Everyone unloaded the car and put their stuff in their rooms. Mike and El were unpacking the groceries while the others decided to have a look around.
"This is going to be such a fun week!" El said cheerfully and kissed her boyfriend on the cheek.
"Yeah, I'm so happy Hopper let you come. It wouldn't be as fun without you," Mike said as he pulled El in by the waist. He kissed her passionately. After a bit, El pulled away.
"Okay Mr we can do that later but these groceries aren't going to unpack themselves."

Dustin and Will went exploring in the basement. There was a huge tv, an air hockey table, and a ping pong table.
"Sweet! He has a ping pong table," Dustin cheered.
"Why is that so exciting?" Will laughed.
"Because now I can try and beat Max at beer pong again."
"Haha, you're funny. You know no one has ever beaten Max at that game. But do we even have beer? Or alcohol in general?" Will questioned.
"You think I would come unprepared to a week without parents?!!? Come on you know me better. Why else would I have brought two suitcases!"
"JAGSJSKAGEYEHN dude you did not let's goooooo!" Will got all hyped and high fived Dustin.

Meanwhile, Max and Lucas went outside to the backyard. It lead to a dock with a boat and 7 jet skis.
"Since when was Mike this rich?" Max asked.
"Well his grandparents have a lot of money so I think they bought most of this stuff," Lucas said following Max down to the dock.
"This is gonna be one hell of a week Stalker. You ready?" Max sighed with her hands on her hips.
"Ready for what?"
"THIS" Max then pushed Lucas into the water.
"Oh, I'm getting you back for that one."
"You can try," Max said laughing her butt off.
"Is there a ladder?"
"I don't see one. I guess you're stuck there," Max teased.
"At least give me your hand please?"
"Ugh fine," Max extended her hand and Lucas grabbed it. She pulled him up and he was soaking wet on the dock.
"You know what..." Lucas said as he grabbed Max by the waist and jumped in the lake.
"Haha, now we are both wet."
"I hate you," Max said sarcastically.
"I hate you too," Lucas replied with the same amount of sarcasm Max had. He pulled her closer so she was now straddling him.
"But you're right this is going to be one hell of a week," Lucas said with a sly smile.
"Mmmmm and I wonder why." She said putting her arms around his neck and leaning in. Their kisses soon turned into a heavy make-out session. Lucas started snaking his hands up her shirt. While Max was ruffling his wet hair. They were breathing heavily when Max started taking Lucas's shirt off. He took it off and threw it on the dock. But before it got any further they heard something.

"Are you kidding me?! We've been here an hour and you guys are already sucking face!" Dustin complained while walking down the dock with the others.
"I love how you're questioning them sucking face. I'm wondering how they ended up in the water," Mike said laughing at the two embarrassed teenagers.
"It was her fault," Lucas said eyeing Max.
"Ok yeah, but you pulled me in after I pushed you."
"That is true," Lucas said satisfied.
"Well does everyone wanna go change into swimsuits so we can go tubing on the boat?" Mike asked.
"UH YEAH," everyone replied.
