"It's our last day...what do you want to do before we leave tomorrow morning?" Lucas asked the sleepy redhead next to him. He loved being alone with her, but he was also ready to go back to the house and take an actual shower.

"We could explore over by the lake," Max suggested. She sat up, letting the tiredness roll off her.

The two put their bathing suits on underneath their clothes and headed to the lake.

The walk was roughly two miles to the lake. By the time they got there, the sun was heating their skin. Max enjoyed feeling the sun glowing on her face. On the other hand, Lucas was ready to get into the water.

"Sick, no one else is here!" Lucas cheered as they set their stuff down.

"Honestly, this whole quarantine thing is kinda nice. I mean, no one is ever out," Max added. Lucas agreed since the two weren't huge on seeing and interacting with many people.

The water was chilly but bearable, so they decided to swim. Lucas couldn't help but watch Max slide off her little high-waisted shorts.

"You know, if you take a picture, it'll last longer."

Shit, she noticed.

"You're real shit at hiding your stare, Stalker," Max laughed at him.

"Sometimes I just can't help it," He put his hands up like he was surrendering. Then Lucas pulled his shirt off, turning Max into the one who stares. She was a little more sly with it, so he didn't catch her lingering eyes.

"Race you to the water, Mayfield," Lucas said and took off. She was taken off guard but caught up to him.

Lucas was almost in the water when Max jumped on his back, sending them both into the lake.

They both came up to the surface laughing.

"It is fucking cold." Max stuttered due to her chattering teeth.

"Oh, come on. It's not that bad. If you keep going underwater, you'll get used to it," Lucas responded and went below the surface.

The water wasn't the clearest, so she couldn't see the bottom of the lake. Max bit the bullet and decided to go under the water again. She thought the water surrounding her body from head to toe was what warmed her up, however, she quickly realized it was her boyfriend's body against hers that caused the warmth.

The two came up for air still as close as ever.

"You're lucky I didn't kick you," Max deadpanned. Lucas just rolled his eyes and pulled her in closer by the waist. He could feel the water Max was treading moving around. It made him laugh. Max was slightly confused at her boyfriend's sudden amusement. "Why are you laughing," She asked with a smile.

"You can't touch, can you?" Lucas remembered the times when he was shorter than Max. Up until sophomore year, she was always slightly taller than him. Max would tease him about it all the time, but she knew it was only a matter of time until his height shot up.

"Shut up. It's like six feet deep here."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night," He chuckled.

After soaking up some sun, the two decided to head back to the campgrounds. They made some food and just talked until the sun started setting.

"Wanna play a game?" Max had a slight smirk on her face.

"Oh god, I am not playing truth or dare alone with you. I'll end up streaking on the highway or something. I know it!" Max died from laughter at his reaction.

"That's not what I was going to suggest," Max was trying to compose herself. "I don't know if the game has a name," She wondered.

"Well, what do you do?" Lucas was always nervous to play games with Max.

"So basically, we ask each other questions about a memory we've shared, and if we get it wrong...a piece of clothing comes off," Max raised her eyebrow, knowing he would like this game.

"Oh, you're on," Lucas challenged. It was dim inside the tent. The only light source was the small string of LED Christmas lights Max had thought to bring.

"Alright, I'll go first. What part of the playground did we meet on?"

"Too easy; it was that pair of the rusty old swingsets." Lucas snickered. "My turn. Where did you first meet my sister?" Max's eyebrows scrunched in thought.

"Was it not your house?"

"It was at the pool. She practically cannonballed on top of us every five minutes."

"Oh my god, I remember that! And she got really mad when we teased her about that boy!" Max took off her socks as they reminisced about the memory. "What flavor ice cream did I throw at you in fifth grade?"

"Oh geez, chocolate?" He guessed.

"Wrong, cookies and cream." Lucas unbuckled his belt and put it on the ground next to him.

The game went on until Lucas was left in his boxers and Max in her shirt and underwear.

"It's getting late, and I can't think of any more questions," Lucas admitted.

"I've got one more. Are you upset that I still have my shirt on?"

"That doesn't sound like a memory question to me, Madmax."

A slight grin stretched across her face. Lucas couldn't help but look into her eyes. They were filled with compassion, love, and a sprinkle of lust.

"Upset? No. Disappointed it's still on? Yeah." Lucas smiled and watch as Max slipped out of her shirt.

"What about now?" Lucas answered her with a kiss.

She moved to sit on his lap, and they started making out. A groan erupted from Lucas's mouth as Max rocked her hips back and fourth. It was a noise Max loved to hear. Her hands roamed his upper body, and his stayed on her breasts. This was the last night without their friends in the same house, they were going to take advantage of it.

The few articles of clothing that were left, flung off their bodies. It didn't take long for the two to need each other. Each movement felt like a whole new experience. Without a care in the world, they were as loud as could be, and they didn't fall asleep till 4 am.

Sorry the ending was shitty. I got tired lol but wanted to put a chapter out. I hope you liked it! I love reading comments so feel free to leave some! My next book will actually have a plot, so I'm excited.
